Does America still have enough moralists to win?
If secularists win, they will get Barack Obama—The Boy with the cliché mesmerizing “inspirational” speeches that go nowhere but arch-liberal.
If moralists win, they will get a Republican President who is daily watched over by conservative citizens. His constituency will have basically a biblical ethic.
Are there enough moralists left in this country to sideline a thoroughly liberal left-of-left President?
Each generation yields its own ethic. Are there still enough Red States voters to bring to the Oval Office a pro-life, traditional marriage / family, and Judeo-Christian heritage perspective?
If liberal relativists win, America will go increasingly secular like Europe. That means that the nation will drift further and further from God.
If moralists win, the nation can still sing sincerely “God Bless America.”
The frequencies will begin to show in the months ahead. The molding of the November final will start to reveal itself before Election Day.
The battle is fundamentally a spiritual one. That is why religion has counted so significantly in these campaign months. Religion is one of the daily primary accents.
On the relativists’ side are Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama who hold to theological and political liberalism in the extreme. They both profess to be “Christians.” However, they are not scriptural believers. They are typical liberal churchgoers and that is all.
They write their own religion and call it “Christianity.” That is why their immorality can espouse killing womb infants and sodomy, for example.
If either sits in the Oval Office, moral relativism will govern daily by political opportunism, just as now.
If biblical moralists win, conservatives will see to it that the President is guided by an “under God” philosophy.
Are there still enough moralists in America to keep that hope alive?
GOD IS FAITHFUL

I had pastored a denominational church (Church of the Nazarene) since 1964 when in 1998 I was ousted by ecclesiastical political conniving.
In 1992, I attended a pastors’ and wives’ Christmas dinner sponsored by the district. Unbeknownst to me, another minister told the district superintendent that I had said we had to get rid of the superintendent. I never said that. But the superintendent believed the lie.
From that day onward, the superintendent tried to oust me from my Maine pastorate. That’s the power of a lie.
I had ministered from west to east over years in the denomination in which I had been born on January 4, 1939: Calgary, Alberta; Kansas City, Missouri; Manchester, Connecticut; Indianapolis, Indiana; Fishkill, New York; Akron, Ohio; Walpole, Massachusetts and then Maine.
I had pastored not only in the denomination in which I had been ordained in the ‘60s, but also in the Methodist Church, Nevada, Indiana; United Church of Christ (Congregational), Broad Brook, Connecticut; and St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, High Point, North Carolina.
Now I was without a congregation, parsonage, health coverage, and salary. On that August Sunday evening, the superintendent who followed the one who believed the lie walked into my house unannounced. He was accompanied by a district advisory board. I had been conducting a prayer meeting in our parsonage living room when the interruption came.
In any church, there are troublemakers. Ask any pastor of any denomination. Sometimes those troublemakers mass themselves into a political block to oust the pastor. That’s what happened in my case. The block went to the second superintendent who had believed the 1992 lie. That brought the superintendent to my home with his back-ups.
You see, the first superintendent, Clarence Hildreth, District Superintendent, Maine District, Church of the Nazarene, who believed the lie moved on to another position out of state. The one who followed him, Roland Dunlop, had it in for me because I would not support him in a mean move. A couple from my church planning their wedding ceremony wanted to use his city sanctuary for it was larger than our village sanctuary. The superintendent, then pastor of the city church, told me that he was going to charge the couple $400 for the use of his facility. He wanted me to endorse that.
I told him that I could not do that. It was unfair to the couple who had little money. He countered by stating in no uncertain terms that I would indeed back him up. I told him that I could not ethically do that. With that, we came to an impasse. With that, he held it against me till he became superintendent.
With the troublemakers in my local congregation going to him with their manufactured grievances, he then unreasonably concluded he had leverage by which to oust me. So he did, with the help of his advisory board — clones of the superintendent. Politics works its devilment not only among the ecclesiastical clergy but the laymen who side in with the dark political mode.
Ungodly politics also works its way from grassroots to headquarters levels. Prior to all this Maine district devilment, one of the five books I authored was entitled ONE CHRISTMAS I MET AN ANGEL, published by Beacon Hill Press of Kansas City, the denominational publishing house for the Church of the Nazarene. When Dunlop ousted me, the headquarters threw away 2000 remaining copies of my book. Just threw them away.
When my friends phoned Kansas City to get copies for that Christmas they were told that the book was no longer available. The man in charge, I have since forgotten his name, is probably still alive. May God have mercy on his soul.
On that Sunday evening of being ousted, with the enemy having left my living room, I and the parishioners there for a prayer meeting concluded by organizing our own independent, evangelical congregation. We would meet in our homes since our church building had just been taken away from us. We would dispense with annual elections, committees, boards, membership, newsletters, bulletins and all the trappings of the denominational organization.
However, I was in shock. Within 30 days, I had to vacate my home. I had no place to go. In 30 days, I would be absent my health coverage, salary and roof over my head.
My wife recalled a humble summer camp community not too far away. She phoned to discover that there was an old trailer there that we could move in to.
We stored our belongings in various parishioners’ homes — attics, basements, garages, sheds. In fact, one house ended up with our piano in the owners’ living room. Other homes housed our rocking chairs, straight-back chairs and end tables. My pastor’s study library is still stored in boxes in a friend’s backyard shed.
My wife and I went to substitute teach. On that meager salary total we survived. But emotionally I crumbled.
The trailer interior was dark paneling. I dreaded evening and nighttime. The quarters were cramped. Winter snowstorms howled around our windows, sometimes creeping in around the edges. Our front door screen was broken down. We seemed to be out in the middle of Maine’s nowhere. That went on for months.
I woke up mornings anxious to get into a classroom for in those environs there was light and movement and people and chatter and something to do with my brain. But in mid-afternoon when leaving the schools, I felt a suffocating, crawling dread crippling my body and soul. It was beyond description.
God seemed far far away.
One day my brother-in-law was visiting us. We walked down near the lake to come upon an aged, worn cabin. It had a simple porch. The only door was unlocked so we walked inside. There was a living room, kitchenette, two bedrooms and a bath. Though covered with cobwebs, that rickety cabin looked like a dream house to me. I said, “You know, if God would only provide the two of us with a dwelling like this, I could call it ‘home’.”
But that of course was impossible.
Several months later we were visiting with Christians in Standish, Maine. Our hostess said, “I think a couple we know has a rental available.” I asked for the number, got it, and called. The next evening we were walking into the rental. And we got it. Our landlords happened to be believers, now new friends to us.
The layout of the rental: a small porch, living room, kitchenette, two bedrooms and a bath.
Today I still walk around this cottage by Lake Sebago where we live. I call it a house with seven rooms, but four of them are invisible. I like the number “7” because it’s the divine number of perfection.
I look out my living room windows every day and night to see God’s nature wonder all around me. Three large windows make up one of the living room walls so that when you stand in that room it’s like standing outside.
All four seasons breathe inside as well as outside from that room. Now today I looked out to see the lake covered with ice — thick, so that ice shacks are planted atop it. I see snow mounded all over everywhere, sporting limbs laden with white coverlets.
I just love this place. It’s where we live. It’s where our house church meets three times every week for worship. It’s where I thank God for miracles.
Now if that’s not enough, we also have a beautiful, cozy country home in Kennetcook, Nova Scotia. Our neighbor there across the meadow calls our place “an estate.” I think that’s a bit overmuch, but I’ve never corrected her. You see, if I did, that would not be fair to my godly mother-in-law who willed the property to us. After all, she made it the “estate” that it is.
It has 9 rooms, a welcoming wrap-around-front porch, those tall old-fashioned windows, a sun porch and plenty of acreage — perfected-by-nature groomed land. There’s even a creaky back screen door that makes its own off-key melody every time it’s opened and shut. Plus: there’s a barn with several sheds.
Down apiece, you can meander to the Kennetcook River. A tiny village of 400, a white steepled church in the middle, and a school nearby, plus a few scattered neighboring homes make up our “other home place.” My in-laws called the property “Cedar Grove” because of the cedar trees all about.
That’s where I like to go when feeling “Canadian.” When “American USA” I enjoy my Windham cottage. In either cozy-down, it’s home. Besides, it’s another miracle.

MUSLIMS VS. CHRISTIANS: US CONGRATS KOSOVO

So churches were burnt to the ground. Nuns were raped. Christians were slain.
And the United States congratulated Kosovo on its declaration of independence from Serbia. Long live the idiocy. Not.
Thousands of Serbian Christians in the Balkans have been murdered by Islamic extremists who truly believe that infidels must be wiped out across the planet.
Kosovo is now a “radical Muslim state,” per CFP’s Paul Williams’ “America’s war on terror has come full circle.”
On February 16, the independence word went out, then thousands of Muslims filled the boulevards, waving American flags and lifting patriotic lyrics. Time to fool the Americans.
All the while sanctuaries were sacked and Bibles burnt.
About 4,000 Christian Serbs were slaughtered in and around Srebrenica and nearby villages.
“In a letter to Fatmir Sejdui, the president of the new ‘republic,’ US President George W. Bush wrote: ‘On behalf of the American people, I hereby recognize Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state. I congratulate you and Kosovo’s citizens for having taken this important step in your democratic and national development.’”
“He also pledged to increase the amount of foreign aid to the Balkan state from $77 million in 2007 to $335 million in 2008.”
Christians worldwide wept.
“Former UN Ambassador John Bolton maintains that the creation of an independent Kosovo ‘will give a boost to Islam extremism.’”

LET ATHEIST RUN FOR PRES

It would be far better to have an outright atheist run for the presidency than Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
An outright atheist proclaims he has no faith in any deity. That is up front. That is an honest creedal statement.
Now we have Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama running for the presidency as “Christians.”
They are not Christians.
A Christian is a believer who accepts the Bible as divine revelation. He is one who will not add to or subtract from the Book because God Himself states that this is prohibited.
A Christian is one who lives out the biblical ethic in everyday life. It is a moral system established by the deity of holy writ.
Both Hillary and Obama testify to being “Christians.” They even preach from so-called Christian sanctuary pulpits, quoting Scripture and offering prayers.
They both point to their Protestant denominational backgrounds as support that their faith is long-standing. The will refer to various clergypersons who have helped them in their faith journey.
Hillary states that she belongs to a prayer group in Washington. She depends on the members for group support and intercessory prayer.
Obama organizes gospel concerts in southern states. He says that before various campaign meetings, he opens with prayer. He witnesses to having met Jesus in his home church.
One could go on and on with further testimonials as to Hillary’s and Obama’s personal relationship to the God of the Bible.
However, what is horrific is that both totally disregard the Bible when it is politically convenient. For instance, the Bible states God’s abhorrence for sodomy as well as killing womb babies.
Hillary and Obama are quite bold in telling the world that they morally approve of sodomy and slaying womb children. That, according to Scripture, makes them blatant hypocrites.
They are in danger of divine wrath. They will answer for such disobedience at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
In other words, according to the Bible, their earthly sojourns are in danger. Their eternal souls are in danger of damnation if they continue in such apostasy.
Now here is the question: Which is more honest? Having an atheist run for the presidency or known religious charlatans running for the presidency?
It would be far more honest to have an atheist seeking the office than two claiming to be “Christian” when in reality they are workers of evil.
They have the spirit of antichrist.

AHMADINEJAD STONES WOMEN. HILLARY & OBAMA SCALD BABIES

That’s fact.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad supports stoning women accused of adultery. Their bodies are lodged in dirt pits, then their heads are stoned in till dead. This is legal in Iran. It is also orthodox religion per the Koran’s stipulations as to what size the stones must be.
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama support scalding babies in females’ wombs. These children are burnt to death with no defense. This is legal in America. It is also theologically liberal orthodoxy per the apostates rewriting Scripture.
Now what’s the difference between America’s democracy that tolerates scalding boys and girls in females’ bodies and Iran’s dictatorship tolerating the accused heads bashed into pulp?
Yet in America we castigate such Islamic practices, not only in Iran but in other Muslim environs. We call it inhumane. We even publicize such atrocities in order to expose the Koran’s verses for public scrutiny.
However, in America there are millions who spend their entire lives endorsing the killing of innocent infants. These millions organize into governmentally accepted conclaves such as Planned Parenthood. Abortuaries dot the country.
As I type, some accused Iranian is suffering rocks crushing in the skull. As I type, some defenseless American child is scalded until dead.
Further, as I type two mortals making daily headlines—Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama—are applauded by their groupies. The latter work night and day to get the favorite elected to the most powerful position in the United States.
Now replace the name Hillary Clinton with Josef Stalin. And replace the name Barack Obama with Adolf Hitler. Do you see the parallel?
Two killed the innocent. Two presently kill the innocent.
Imagine putting the names Josef Stalin, Adolf Hitler,
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama into the same horrific category.
Just imagine the truth of doing that. Note the legitimate fact of doing that.
Now decide what environs is civil represented by these individuals? All who suffered and are suffering because of these personages were and are dealt unimaginable cruelty.
Yet two of those named are cheered on to the White House this very moment.
Is not that barbaric, like unto the barbarism of women pitted in dirt so that their heads can be crushed by rocks?
One Win for Freedom of Choice

Today, we get a little good news for a change. A teacher in the Vancouver Public School district in Vancouver, Washington has won the right in court to distribute her union dues to a charity instead of wasting them by being forced to pay them to the union.
Wiggs, a teacher at Jason Lee Middle School, has been embroiled in a two-year dispute with the teachers union about where to direct her dues. Two years ago, Wiggs withdrew from the union as a religious objector.
“They were taking political stands that I cannot support, considering my faith,” Wiggs, a Christian, said in March. “They were coming out in favor of abortion and homosexual rights. I didn’t want to support them with my dues.”
So, the law in Washington State says that a union objector may submit their dues to a charity. So, what the heck is she in court for? Well here is where the typically ignorant, meddlesome, non-democratic unions indulged in their typical nonsense.
State law requires that religious objectors continue to carve out money from their paychecks to put toward a charity. But Wiggs and the union have disagreed on which one.
Wiggs’ chosen nonprofit is the Vancouver-based Shared Hope International, which targets international sex trafficking. The organization isn’t religious and was founded by former U.S. Rep. Linda Smith, a Republican from Vancouver.
The union would prefer that Wiggs choose the YWCA or the Vancouver School District Foundation.
Yes, you read that right. These union thugs were even trying to force the teacher to chose the charity THEY wanted her dues given to!
What incredible gall!
In any case, the teacher won. Naturally, the union thugs are going to appeal. Still, this is a win for th good guys.
HOMOSEXUALS SPREAD ‘UNSTOPPABLE’ BACTERIA

“A drug-resistant strain of potentially deadly bacteria has moved beyond the borders of U.S. hospitals and is being transmitted among gay men during sex, researchers said on Monday.
“They said methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA, is beginning to appear outside hospitals in San Francisco, Boston, New York and Los Angeles.”
“‘Once this reaches the general population, it will be truly unstoppable,’ said Binh Diep, a researcher at the University of California, San Francisco who led the study” per Reuters.
Yet who encourages homosexual recreational sex?
Included in that hurrah is the Episcopal Church of America, United Church of Christ (Congregational), and the Universalist Society, as well as segments within the Roman Catholic Church, United Methodist Church, American Baptist Church, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
Included in that support are politicians such as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, both seeking the highest office in the Republic.
Included in that endorsement are theological liberals throughout the nation’s seminaries, universities and colleges as well as local schools.
Those who denigrate the biblical data regarding God’s abhorrence of homosexual activity thereby aid in the furthering of widespread, deadly diseases. It is illogical; nevertheless, it is fact.
Those who affirm the biblical data are often considered a cultural lag and intellectually inferior as well as bigoted and unChristian.
“According to the study, at this point, homosexual men are 13 times more likely to contract the potentially deadly, drug-resistant strain of Staph infection, but the fear is that, because the infection is spread via skin-to-skin contact, homosexual men may soon spread it to the general population.
“Matt Barber, Policy Director for Cultural issues with Concerned Women for America (CWA), said, ‘The medical community has known for years that homosexual conduct, especially among males, creates a breeding ground for often deadly disease. In recent years we have seen a profound resurgence in cases of HIV/AIDS, syphilis, rectal gonorrhea and many other STDs among those who call themselves “gay.”
‘“The human body is quite callous in how it handles mistreatment and the perversion of its natural functions. When two men mimic the act of heterosexual intercourse with one another, they create an environment, a biological counterfeit, wherein disease can thrive. Unnatural behaviors beget natural consequences.
“’In recent years our culture has adopted a laissez faire attitude toward sexual deviancy. Television shows like Will and Grace glorify the homosexual lifestyle while our children are taught in schools that homosexuality is a perfectly healthy, alternative sexual “orientation.” “Stay out of our bedrooms!” we’re often commanded by militant “gay” activists.
“’Well, now the dangerous and possibly deadly consequence of what occurs in those bedrooms is spilling over into the general population. It’s not only frightening, it’s infuriating’” per Concerned Women for America.
The Bible is clear:
Leviticus 18:22: “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”
Leviticus 20:13: “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.”
Romans 1:18-32: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. . .For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools. . .
“Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. . .
“For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire towards one another, men with men committed indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
“God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice. . .without understanding. . . and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”
I Corinthians 6:9: “Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”
Yet such groups as the worldwide Metropolitan Community Church twists the exegesis of such passages in order to allow for homosexual activity. Liberals in other denominations follow suit with such purposeful misinterpretation in order to satisfy the homosexual practice.

Abortion is murder.
That candidate who enthusiastically endorses abortion is a murderer.
That candidate garbs that murder in terms of “women’s rights.” That is a lie. There is no civil right that underwrites a female slaying her womb child.
Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama most assuredly inform the world that they are on the side of aborting every child that needs wiping out. After all, it’s a woman’s right.
Therefore, these two Democrat contenders are not closet murderers. They are right out there in the open.
In fact, they both cheer for partial-birth abortion, the most horrific killing of innocent children. These are two humans running for the highest office in America.
Yet they are daily murder fanatics. They are not just so-so abortionists. They are at the very front of the line when it comes to writing abortion into everyday lifestyle.
Americans must never become numb to these facts. Citizens must not become so used to abortion-as-usual that they consider it a sideline issue.
It is the primary issue. Again: it is the primary issue.
All Republican candidates in the debates were pro-life. Not one publicly stated he was for killing a womb child. That was a definite plus for the Republican Party.
It is still a plus.
Presently John McCain, Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul are all pro-lifers. That means they are not only for saving womb children from being slaughtered; they are for their defense as mortals.
The Democrats as a conclave have sold their souls to murder. It is there. It is fact. It is data without argument. The Democratic Party endorses evil—blatantly, without shame.
Consequently, if a Clinton or Obama gets to the White House, a front row seat killer will be seated behind the desk of the most powerful nation.
Pray that it never happens.
CONSERVATIVE SITES SLOWING DOWN

Some conservative sites are slowing down. Some down to nill.
It’s amazing. I wonder if the various webmasters realize this of other webmasters. But it is a new phenomenon.
I’m not about to psych out why this is going on. But the sites themselves show a barren field whereas before there were journalistic crops growing—large and healthy.
It gives the impression that certain webmasters are in a real funk and therefore don’t care that much about posting conservative writers’ articles.
That’s sad, particularly considering that the liberals are making hay via the Obamamania craze. This is the time for conservatives of all sites to be chuck full of reasonable posts.
