If You Believe Anything – You’ll Follow Al Sharpton

Al Sharpton and others are still throwing a hissy fit over the verdict in the case of Sean Bell.

Mr. Bell was killed when the car he was in and those with him assaulted police officers, refused to heed clear and direct orders from the officers and the officers attempted to protect themselves from a threat.

Second guess the cops all you want but you cannot honestly say that they did not act properly when threatened. Those are the clear facts of the case.

But it does not matter to Al Sharpton and his legions of lemmings who are angry at the world and looking to blame someone else. One man, according to a report on wcbstv.com said, “We have to fight for something or we’ll fall for anything. It’s not just about Sean Bell. It’s about every man that’s been unjustly killed in America. The point to make to the people is to get their attention. It could be their son tomorrow or their daughter tomorrow.”

Apparently however the “something” that people like this want to fight for isn’t the truth. That is what is scary. Because they will fight for anything if they think they can make a point. It doesn’t matter if the point is correct or not – what matters is the narrative.

And in the narrative of Sean Bell, the fact that he and his buddies did a lot of stupid things in succession and put the police in the situation which resulted in his death is lost.

But hey - the narrative is good right? Fight the power!

And when you are in the same predicament as you are today but 20 years from now you can only blame yourself.

Shabazz Endorses Obama’s New Pastor As Just As Radical As Wright

Lot of people with blinders on won’t listen to a lick of what I have to say. They don’t like the truth and they will come up with any reason to justify not listening when the words come from my mouth about how Rev. Wright may be gone, but the radical nature of Obama’s church remains. So maybe they will listen to the words of Malik Shabazz, Chairman of the New Black Panther Party:

Otis Moss, the man slated to become the new chief pastor at Barack Obama’s Chicago church, subscribes to the ideology of retiring pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. and is expected to continue Wright’s legacy, according to Malik Zulu Shabazz, national chairman of the New Black Panther Party.

After Wright’s session with reporters at the National Press Club in Washington last week, Obama held his own news conference to denounce the pastor’s “divisive and destructive” remarks and said there had been “great damage” done to the relationship.

Obama, however, said this past weekend he will continue his membership in Trinity. He referred to Moss as “wonderful.”

“Well, you know, the new pastor – the young pastor, Rev. Otis Moss, is a wonderful young pastor. And as I said, I still very much value the Trinity community,” Obama told the New York Times.

Shabazz was an invited guest at Wright’s National Press Club appearance, where Obama’s longtime pastor defended Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan and discussed some of his controversial views, including his belief American policy was to blame for 9/11.

In an interview this week with WND and with the John Batchelor Radio Show, Shabazz said he follows Moss’ work and respects the new Trinity pastor.

Asked if he believes Moss will continue in Wright’s legacy, Shabazz replied, “There’s no doubt about that. That’s obvious. He’s his student pastor and would not be where he is if it were not for Jeremiah Wright.”

Petitioned further whether he believes Moss would espouse black liberation theology or some of Wright’s controversial views, including his expressed theory the U.S. spread the AIDS virus to kill blacks, Shabazz said he expects Moss will “stick by” Wright’s principals.

So Wright is out and Moss is in. He has the stamp of approval from Malik Shabazz and Obama will remain a member. Gee, and you think this controversy will go away by the election?

Say whatever you like to justify covering your ears. Call me a racist. Call me a hatemonger. Call me whatever you like. But it won’t change the facts.

Hillary Mistakenly Calls OPEC A “Monopoly”

“[OPEC] can no longer be a cartel, a monopoly that get together … [and] decide how much oil to produce.” – Hillary Clinton pandering for votes.

Yes, Hillary Clinton is still trying to blame a boogeyman for the fact that, despite all the promises during the 2006 election, her fellow travelers in Congress have not delivered on their “plan” to lower gasoline prices. It can’t possibly be that there never was a plan or that they had a plan that didn’t work. Oh, no – it has to be that “monopoly” called OPEC.

Only problem is that OPEC is not a “monopoly”. A lot of the world’s oil comes from non-OPEC members. The production figures from February 2008 tell the truth:
OPEC: 37.09 (42.8%) Million Barrels Per Day
OECD (including US, Mexico, Canada, etc): 19.87 (22.9%) Million Barrels Per Day
Non-OECD/OPEC: 27.87 (32.2%) Million Barrels Per Day

Wow! How can a group of countries that have only a 42% market share when combined be a “monopoly” which is defined as “exclusive ownership through legal privilege, command of supply, or concerted action” or “exclusive possession or control” or “a commodity controlled by one party”.

Senatorette Clinton to say you are stuck on stupid would be an understatement. And any of you out there that actually applaud her and believe this crap she spews are even worse. To quote Obi Wan Kenobi, “Who is more foolish? The fool or the fool that follows him?”

The Conservative And The Liberal

Early one morning the phone rang at Bob’s house. It was early on a Saturday and he had hoped to sleep in after a week of working hard but the ringing persisted and so he answer the phone. “Hello,” he answered wearily, annoyed that he had been disturbed.

“Hey you conservative jerk,” the voice on the other end yelled, “get up! Barack Obama is in town and going to prove to you that he can walk on water.”

“Jim? Is this you?”

Jim responded, “Just get your greedy little gun toting butt down to the pond in one hour! Barack Obama is going to show you!” and then hung up.

Bob, put his head back down on his pillow and thought for a few minutes about going back to sleep but then realized that this was something he had to see. Barack Obama walking on water? His friend Jim was so enamored with Obama’s ability to say anything and get away with it that he just had to see this event.

So Bob got up, put on his clothes and got into his SUV, making sure to fill up the gas tank on the way out to the pond. When he arrived he saw Jim standing among a crowd of others that had gathered cheering wildly as Barack Obama was waving from a small dock that extended out into the pond.

Bob said to his friend, “You know Jim, no mortal man can walk on water.”

“Shut up!” Jim blew up at him, “Why do you always have to let your hatred of black people come out?”

“How is pointing out that one cannot walk on water showing “hatred” to black people?”

“You know, we’ve been through this already! Obama has denounced Jeremiah Wright so stop making this about religion and stop attacking the black church.”

“What?” Bob responded perplexed. “Who said anything about Rev. Wright?”

“Just shut up, I can’t hear what Obama is saying.”

Just then a roar rose up from the crowd and Obama’s words echoed across the gathered faithful. “And now I will step out onto this pond and show you that I can indeed walk on water.” The crowd grew even more frenzied and Obama placed his first foot upon the water.

As he went to walk about onto the pond however – WHOOOSH – he vanished under the water. The crowd fell silent for a moment and then after a few seconds erupted into a round of applause as a soaking wet Barack Obama climbed back up onto the dock. He waved to them.

“See,” Bob said, “I told you.”

“Told me what? Didn’t you see what he did? He did it! He walked on water!”

“What? No he didn’t. He sank like a stone.”

“Whatever! We all saw him do it! You cannot deny how great he is!”

Bob pointed to where Obama stood, “Look at him, he’s soaking wet! He fell into the water and climbed out!”

“No, he walked on water! We all saw it! Didn’t we?” Jim encouraged the crowd around him to rebuke Bob.

“Yes!” those around them answered.

“Are you all insane?” Bob asked. “He most certainly did not walk on water!”

“We believe!” the crowd responded lead by Jim. “We have seen his greatness with our own eyes!”
Bob threw up his arms. “You are all most definitely insane; too drunk on Kool Aid to see what is clear before your eyes.”

“UNBELIEVER! UNBELIEVER! HERITIC!” Bob quickly turned and ran from the crowd that was now trying to close in around him. He jumped back in his SUV and left the scene of the madness as quickly as he could.

When he got home his wife asked him where he had been and he relayed the story about how Barack Obama fell into the pond yet all those gathered denied it and claimed he had walked on water.
She shook her head and said to him, “You know better than to ever hang around with a bunch of liberals. They never admit the truth, only what they want to believe.”

Rush Limbaugh Blamed for Obama Loss in Indiana

Hillary Clinton eked out a narrow victory over Barack Obama in the Indiana Democratic primary, but top Obama aides say Obama would have won if it were not for conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh.

David Axelrod, Obama’s top strategist, told reporters that he attributed Clinton’s lead in Indiana to Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” — his campaign to have Republicans cross over and vote for Clinton to prolong the nomination fight and damage the Democratic nominee.

Exit polls appear to back up Axelrod’s claims. Results of the Indiana exit poll found that that 17 percent of primary voters said they would vote for Republican John McCain over Clinton in the general election. And 41 percent of those voters still cast a vote for Hillary in the primary, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Citing these figures, the Obama campaign sent an e-mail to reporters Tuesday night asserting that 7 percent of the votes in Indiana could be attributed to the “Limbaugh effect.”

Clinton won the primary by about two percentage points — 23,000 votes out of 1.2 million cast.

Indiana’s primary was open to Republicans and independents as well as Democrats. In North Carolina, where registered Republicans could not vote in the Democratic primary, Obama won handily on Tuesday, 56 percent to 42 percent.

As the polls were closing in Indiana on Tuesday night, the Indianapolis Star reported that it appeared droves of “hardcore” Republicans were crossing over to vote in the Democratic primary in several GOP strongholds.

John K. Wilson wrote on The Huffington Post that the “Limbaugh effect” “easily provided enough votes to give Clinton her 23,000-vote margin of victory in Indiana.”

Fox Derangement Syndrome

Liberals are funny. They don’t try to be funny, but they are. And if you want to see liberals act in such a manner just mention any of a few simple words, names or phrases such as George Bush, patriotism, we are winning the war on terror and, of course, Fox News:

The nation’s top Democrats are suddenly rushing to appear on the Fox News Channel, which they once had shunned as enemy territory as the nemesis of liberal bloggers.

The detente with Fox has provoked a backlash from progressive bloggers, who contend the party’s leaders are turning their backs on the base — and lending credibility and legitimacy to the network liberals love to hate — in a quest for a few swing votes.

In a span of eight days, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY.) and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean are all taking their seats with the network that calls itself “fair and balanced” but is widely viewed as skewing conservative.

With the party’s presidential contest reduced to hand-to-hand combat, Democrats are turning to the ratings leader among cable news channels in a clear rebuff to the liberal activists known as the Netroots.

Markos Moulitsas, founder of the leading liberal site Daily Kos, told Politico’s Michael Calderone: “Democrats are being idiotic by going on that network.”

Ari Melber, the Net movement correspondent for The Nation, told Politico by phone that progressive activists and the Netroots are “not happy about it.”

“I don’t think that it is tenable to completely neglect or ignore what your base wants,” Melber said.

Well, when your beliefs are shallow, you need to react in such ways I suppose. I wouldn’t know since my beliefs are not.

Yes, liberal moonbats apparently “want” to listen to lowbrow babble from Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and any number of other shallow thinkers (if you can call them “thinkers”) on Air America that recite the talking points they want to hear.

If it were up to the nimrods at Daily KoS, the Democrat presidential nominees would never appear on any network that didn’t have a decidedly liberal slant. Perhaps they are just upset because they believe that if they would ever watch Fox their heads would explode from the secret signals the evil right wingers have placed on that broadcast band?

More Rev. Wright Insults – This Time His Own Goddaughter!

I’ve been reading more of Rev. Wrights incoherent ramblings before the National Press Club. It is so bad that he even insults his own Goddaughter!

“My goddaughter’s unit just arrived in Iraq this week while those who call me unpatriotic have used their positions of privilege to avoid military service while sending over 4,000 American boys and girls to die over a lie.” – Rev. Wright

A lie? What lie exactly? WMDs? Nope – many were indeed found. That Saddam wasn’t linked to terrorists? Well, his ties are well documented so that can’t be it either. So what “lie” Mr. Wright?

But worse than still propagating his own leftist lies, Mr. Wright has insulted his own Goddaughter who is serving by insulating that her service is in the name of this so-called “lie” and that she is willing to support what he mistakenly believes was a “lie”! Way to insult our soldiers Mr. Wright!

Leftists will throw their own kin under the bus when it suits them. Barack did it to his own grandmother so why would you expect Mr. Wright to be any different?

Someone get this reprobate a bigger shovel. He is going to need it.

Divert! Deflect! Spin!

Liberals are always fun to watch as they try to spin out of their own racist, Marxist, class warfare rhetoric. They still don’t realize that we live in an age where information is readily available and not the Soviet Union of the 1960’s – although if they get their way you can bet we will.

Rev. Wright is at it again, trying to divert, deflect and spin his way out of his statements saying “God Damn America,” that AIDS was created by whites to kill black people, his rants against white people specifically because of the color of their skin and several other not only idiotic but down right false statements he has made for the express intent of inciting members of his “church”.

At the National Press Club, Rev. Wright did what all good liberals do. He didn’t address his own statements except to continue on with the canard that they were taken out of context (although how blaming white people for AIDS can be taken out of context is beyond any reasonable person) and when on the attack.

He attacked a popular target of the left – Dick Cheney.

“I served six years in the military,” Barack Obama’s longtime pastor said. “Does that make me patriotic? How many years did (Vice President Dick) Cheney serve?“

So now if you never served in the military that makes your patriotism questionable? This is surely going to piss off a fair share of Mr. Wright’s fellow travelers who loathe members of the military not to mention the vast majority of Americans who have never served.

Mr. Wright and other liberals have to get over this fascination with America as an inherently evil force. Because that belief is what makes people question their patriotism. Mr. Wright and other liberals need to stop inciting others based on race and the success of others. Because those beliefs are what make people question their patriotism. Mr. Wright and other liberals have to get over their belief that Karl Marx had good ideas. Because those beliefs are what make people question their patriotism.

You can try and turn the debate into whether or not Dick Cheney served in the military all you want Rev. Wright. People who are not drinking the Kool Aid are not going to forget what you yourself have actually said and the hate that has come from your own mouth.

And as to whether or not serving in the military in the past gives you carte blanche immunity in the here and now, it doesn’t. Rev. Wright even tries to say that we should not hold Louis Farrakhan accounatable for statements he made many, many years ago - so why should he gain benefit from the actions in his own past?

Beyond that, John Murtha also served in the military and he has called our soldiers murderers without evidence and only to be shown as a fool once the facts roll out. So too did John Kerry, but he lost any claim to patriotism when he slandered our soldiers after comin back from Vietnam. What makes you a patriot of America is embracing America and promoting individual liberty instead of racist, hate whitey, class warfare rhetoric.

That is a truth you can’t divert, deflect or spin away from you anti-American S.o.B.

Murtha’s Office Calls Cops On Blue Star Mothers - Then Denies It?

The office of Congressman John “Our Troops Are Murderers” Murtha is having to answer questions after it called the cops on a group of Blue Star Mothers during a visit to Capitol Hill and while they were trying to get a meeting with him:

While Murtha is clearly comfortable disparaging our military men with cameras rolling and lights blazing, one can only assume that the thought of having to look the victims of his smears in the eye was more than he could bear and more than his staff knew they could expect of him.

After the visit by the Marines, several Blue Star mothers also paid a visit to Murtha’s office to speak with the Congressman or a staff member. This request was similarly denied.

After expressing displeasure at their unwillingness to meet with constituents, the mothers left the building. The Congressman’s staff reaction to this four minute conversation was particularly ironic in light of Murtha’s harsh words about our military’s ability to handle stress.

As they left the building and returned to the Cannon building area, 4 Police cars with flashing lights pulled up and 7 Policeman surrounded one of the Blue Star Mothers and requested she step aside. They asked if she had been in the Rayburn Bldg and what was her business was. She explained that she sought an opportunity to speak with the Congressmen or one of his staff. The officers took her driver’s license and detained her for several minutes. She was told that Murtha’s office had called them because she was “disruptive.”

When asked for comment, Matt Mazonkey of Murtha’s office now claims, “She was never asked to leave our office, nor was she insulted by any member of our staff.” So, she was not asked to leave but police were called to detain her? She was not asked to leave but she became the recipient of a United States Congressman’s attempt to use the Capital Police to intimidate a citizen? Has Murtha and his staff spent a little too much time at the Clinton school of doublespeak?

Very curious indeed. But certainly not out of character for your typical liberal.

The question now is who called the cops and if there was no problem will the moonbat who hates the families of our soldiers so much, and is willing to use the police to harass them, be arrested themselves for making a false complaint?

There are some of you out there who think I am joking when I talk about liberals and their love for fascism and the police state. Do you really think that if they are put into power they won’t do the same to you when you try and petition for redress of grievances or try to say something they find objectionable? Like say promote liberty and unalienable rights?

If you lay down with these dogs you will get fleas.

Ahmadinejad The 9/11 Troofer

Ah yes, good old Mahmoud Ineedajihad is at it again. And he is casting his lot with the 9/11 Troofer movement.

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cast doubt Wednesday over the U.S. version of the Sept. 11 attacks, calling it a pretext used to invade Afghanistan and Iraq.
Although Iran has condemned the 2001 al-Qaida attacks on New York and Washington in the past, this was the third time in a week that Ahmadinejad questioned the death toll, who was behind the attacks and how it happened.

“Four or five years ago, a suspicious event occurred in New York. A building collapsed and they said that 3,000 people had been killed but never published their names,” Ahmadinejad told Iranians in the holy city of Qom.

Yeah, this ranks right up there with the buildings could only have been brought down by controlled demolition (an idiotic fallacy) and there was no plane debris at the Pentagon (another idiotic fallacy). To even say that the names of the people killed at the World Trade Center have never been published is the height of idiocy that only a moonbat like Ahmadinejad could believe.
