Commies Continue To Show Themselves For Who They Are
Taking a cue from their fellow travelers here in the United States (the ACLU et al), a pair of Chinese Communists are attempting to sue CNN over remarks made by Jack Caffery when he made the accurate statement that China imported “junk with the lead paint on them and the poisoned dog food.” Both statement are true. China has indeed been importing goods with lead paint and also poisoned dog food and, being an communist nation where companies are controlled and regulated by the government, means the Chinese government certainly bears some culpability.
But that hasn’t stopped Liang Shubing and Li Lilan from filing suit for $1.3 Billion ($1 per person in China).
Their claim? That the remarks caused them “mental harm”. HEY! CHICOMS! GET OVER IT! If you can’t handle the truth vacate the planet!
CNN should respond by suing the Chicoms for $1 for every person they have had a hand in murdering including every baby that has been aborted or died because of abandonment under their population control programs. Those are actual crimes! Plus, I think they should be sued for $1,000,000 for each and every American soldier they helped to kill during the Vietnam War and their support for North Vietnam.
Yeah … put that in you commie pipe and smoke it.
Liberals Still Suffer From Bush And Cheney Derangement Syndrome
The left has not gotten over the scandal ridden Clinton administration and are still to this day trying to paint the Bush Administration as even worse. Dick Cheney has been a popular target of theirs:
DENVER - A judge denied a request to subpoena Dick Cheney in a lawsuit filed by a man who claims he was wrongfully arrested for comments he made to the vice president about the Iraq war.
Steve Howards’ attorney, David Lane, had argued that Secret Service agents involved in Howards’ arrest in Beaver Creek in June 2006 told different versions of the incident and that only Cheney could clear up what happened.
In denying Lane’s motion Tuesday to have U.S. marshals serve Cheney with a subpoena, U.S. Magistrate Judge Craig Shaffer said Lane had “not made a sufficient showing to warrant a deposition at this time.”
Howards claims in his lawsuit that he was arrested and his constitutional rights violated when he happened upon Cheney and his security detail at a mall and took the opportunity to tell him: “Your policies in Iraq are disgusting.”
One can only wonder what is so “disgusting” about Cheney’s policies since Cheney doesn’t set policy being the Vice-President. What is so disgusting about giving millions of people liberty that it drives these liberals nuts? Is it the fact that those people had dark skin? We know how liberals have treated people with dark skin over the years …
The issue here is that this moonbat is upset that he was harassed … but apparently it is ok for him to harass other people all he wants. Double standard?
Murtha – King of Pork – Rips on McCain’s Age
Have I mentioned lately how much of a blithering idiot John “Our Marines Are Murderers” Murtha is? No? Well I’ll mention it now considering that Murtha (who is 75) thinks McCain (who is 71) is too old to serve his country:
WASHINGTON (AP) - Democratic Rep. John Murtha said Wednesday that Republican Sen. John McCain is too old to be president.
Murtha is 75, four years older than McCain. He says they are nearly the same age, and the rigors and stress of running the country is too much for guys their age.
“I’ve served with seven presidents,” Murtha told a union audience. “When they come in, they all make mistakes. They all get older.”
Gee, but Murtha isn’t too old to be in Congress and suck pork back to his Pennsylvania district? What a doddering old fool!
Talk about making mistakes Comrade Murtha! If that is the criteria you want to use for not being qualified to serve, how about that whole claim that our Marines in Haditha were murderers – huh?
This is how superficial the liberals are. There are plenty of quality reasons to say John McCain is not qualified for the Presidency (which I have talked about many times) but age is not one of them. Apparently they are unable to come up with any REAL reasons. Because only when you don’t have a REAL reason do you, as a 74 year old, say that McCain, as a 71 year old, is too old to serve!
The problem is they can’t attack McCain the way they like to attack their opposition. McCain served his country proudly and remained a POW even when given the option to go home. Murtha on the other hand, who is TRULY an “ex-Marine”, has been doing little other than conning the American taxpayers for years to empower himself.
But no, I am still not going to vote for John McCain in November. Sorry – but I just want to make sure we are clear on that. Just because I defend him against idiotic liberals doesn’t mean I think he is qualified.
On a side note, I wonder if Murtha thinks Silvio Berlusconi, Prime Minister of Italy, who is also 71 is “too old”? And if he did would he have the balls to say so? Probably not. Nancy Pelosi seems to have his nuts in a jar somewhere. Boy, and I thought liberals were going to repair our standing in the world? Hard to do that when you are running around embarassing yourself and insulting foreign leaders!
Carter Praises Terrorist Arafat
Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy … did you smoke a few too many peanuts down there on the farm?
Yasser Arafat fought for the advancement of the Palestinians and other just causes in the world, former US president Jimmy Carter said after laying a wreath Tuesday on the grave of the deceased Palestinian Authority chairman in Ramallah.
Yeah well, Hitler built great roads and Mussolini made the trains run on time too but you won’t see me going to lay a wreath on either of their graves because they were evil men.
Jimmy Carter’s moral compass needs some serious repair. Like a typical leftist, he continues to embrace the truly evil people of our time just as liberals always have from Hitler to Mussolini to Stalin to Fidel Castro to Hugo Chavez. It never ends and they continue to enable the most destructive of all political ideologies.
Clinton Makes Issue of Guns And Religion Then Runs For Cover
Hillary Clinton is trying to sound like the champion of people who actually *GASP* go to church and own guns in the wake of Barack Obama’s gaffe in which he called both of them essentially the opiate of the masses ala Karl Marx.
SCRANTON, Pennsylvania (CNN) – After a weekend spent making direct appeals to gun owners and church goers, Hillary Clinton said Sunday a query about the last time she fired a gun or attended church services “is not a relevant question in this debate” over Barack Obama’s recent comments on small town Americans.
“We can answer that some other time,” Clinton said at a press conference held in a working class neighborhood here. “This is about what people feel is being said about them. I went to church on Easter. I mean, so?”
Gee, she didn’t have an answer prepared apparently. As for going to Church on Easter, a lot of people who don’t normally attend church go on Easter. They are called the Holiday Keepers and go mostly on Easter and Christmas but the rest of the year are mysteriously absent.
Now, people that know me know that I’m not very big on attending Church as a means for worshiping God and recognizing his son Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I can do both quite easily in my own home. But if you are going to step into that fire on the campaign trail and take on those issues you better have a better answer than this.
Ethanol Craze Starving Poorer Countries
Ethanol is one of those things that if it were not for government, would not be on the market. With subsidies at home to drive down the costs and protectionist tariffs to keep out cheaper versions of the fuel, Americans have seen large portions of their food crops diverted to make fuel. That means less corn, etc for food and in turn means more expensive food. This is not just the trend here, but around the world and people are finally starting to catch on.
The idea of turning farms into fuel plants seemed, for a time, like one of the answers to high global oil prices and supply worries. That strategy seemed to reach a high point last year when Congress mandated a fivefold increase in the use of biofuels.
But now a reaction is building against policies in the United States and Europe to promote ethanol and similar fuels, with political leaders from poor countries contending that these fuels are driving up food prices and starving poor people. Biofuels are fast becoming a new flash point in global diplomacy, putting pressure on Western politicians to reconsider their policies, even as they argue that biofuels are only one factor in the seemingly inexorable rise in food prices.
In some countries, the higher prices are leading to riots, political instability and growing worries about feeding the poorest people. Food riots contributed to the dismissal of Haiti’s prime minister last week, and leaders in some other countries are nervously trying to calm anxious consumers.
At a weekend conference in Washington, finance ministers and central bankers of seven leading industrial nations called for urgent action to deal with the price spikes, and several of them demanded a reconsideration of biofuel policies adopted recently in the West.
No, it is not a joke. It is simple economics and yet another lesson as to what happens when government sticks its fingers where they don’t belong.
Government thinks that it can simply “mandate” things and that they will become reality and be good for us. The reality is that all that government does is skew markets and hurt the people that can least afford the costs of their benevolence – the poor.
Socialism doesn’t work. Government mandates do not work. But we’ll keep trying them because too many Americans, and people around the world for that matter, are enamored with government solutions to so-called “problems” invented by charlatans like Al Gore.
Bill Returns To His Lying Ways
Boy, how dumb does Slick Willy think Hillary Clinton supporters are? Well, apparently pretty stupid because he is feeding them bullcrap and telling them it is really a juicy steak:
Former President Bill Clinton gave a passionate defense Thursday of his wife’s claim about “landing under sniper fire” – just as the damaging controversy was dying down.
…
Video of a tranquil arrival ceremony refuted the claim, and her comments hurt her struggling campaign by reviving questions about her candor.
Now, her husband has revived the issue by claiming the comments were true during a “Solutions for America” campaign event in at Boonville High School in Boonville, Ind. Here are his comments, recorded by networks and reported by CBS News:
“You know, I got tickled the other day. A lot of the way this whole campaign has been covered has amused me. But there was a lot of fulminating because Hillary, one time late at night when she was exhausted, misstated — and immediately apologized for it — what happened to her in Bosnia in 1995 [sic]. Did y’all see all that? Oh, they blew it up.
“Let me just tell you. The president of Bosnia and General Wesley Clark – who was there making peace where we’d lost three peacekeepers, who had to ride on a dangerous mountain road because it was too dangerous to go the regular, safe way – both defended her because they pointed out that when her plane landed in Bosnia, she had to go up to the bulletproof part of the plane, in the front.
Everybody else had to put their flak jackets underneath the seat in case they got shot at. And everywhere they went, they were covered by Apache helicopters. So they just abbreviated the arrival ceremony.
I think the hole they have been digging has officially reached China now. Oh yeah, citing Wesley Clark really gives the story more credibility … uh huh.
So now Bill is claiming that Hillary made the false comments “one time late at night when she was exhausted” even though we know it was midmorning when the claims were made? Yeah and everyone in the crowd will believe it and go to the polls believing that lie too and probably also believing that this whole thing is just another example of the “Vast Right Wing Conspiracy” that is out to get the Clintons.
I’m still thoroughly convinced that liberals lie like this because they believe that no one will catch them and do not understand that they don’t control the media like they did in the Soviet Union. We have access to a lot of video through the free press these days. It isn’t he 1960’s any more folks!
In summary, if you believe Bill’s latest spin you might just be too stupid to vote.
But let’s give Bill and Hillary the benefit of the doubt on this one. Let’s say that she was so tired because the comments really did occur in the evening, even though they didn’t. So, conceding this, how can we count on her not to “misspeak” when she answers that 3:00AM phone call late at night which she claims to be so prepared to take?
Huh?
No Infidels Allowed
A publicly funded religious school? Perish the thought! Well … unless that school is teaching Islam …
Recently, I wrote about Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy (TIZA), a K-8 charter school in Inver Grove Heights. Charter schools are public schools and by law must not endorse or promote religion.
Evidence suggests, however, that TIZA is an Islamic school, funded by Minnesota taxpayers.
TIZA has many characteristics that suggest a religious school. It shares the headquarters building of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, whose mission is “establishing Islam in Minnesota.” The building also houses a mosque. TIZA’s executive director, Asad Zaman, is a Muslim imam, or religious leader, and its sponsor is an organization called Islamic Relief.
Students pray daily, the cafeteria serves halal food - permissible under Islamic law — and “Islamic Studies” is offered at the end of the school day.
Zaman maintains that TIZA is not a religious school. He declined, however, to allow me to visit the school to see for myself, “due to the hectic schedule for statewide testing.” But after I e-mailed him that the Minnesota Department of Education had told me that testing would not begin for several weeks, Zaman did not respond — even to urgent calls and e-mails seeking comment before my first column on TIZA.
How unusual that after being caught in a lie no response was forthcoming …
But if you ever, ever, ever try to pray in Christ’s name at a graduation ceremony where 90% of the students are Christians the left will throw the book at you!
Obama – All About Appearances
Style is what liberals crave believing that it sells. But when it comes to substance – eh not so much and results may vary. So enthralled by the issue of looking at people’s race, liberals often cannot help themselves:
The Tartan’s correspondents observed one event coordinator say to another, “Get me more white people, we need more white people.” To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, “We’re moving you, sorry. It’s going to look so pretty, though.”
“I didn’t know they would say, ‘We need a white person here,’ ” said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama. “I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn’t know it would be so outright.”
Yes, but yet we are supposed to believe that liberals have transcended race aren’t we? Come on now. This is a party obsessed with both its past and present fascination of dealing with people based on the color of their skin. They try so hard to distance themselves from the their past racism only to fail.

Black Activists See No Racial Double-Meaning in LeBron James-Gisele Bundchen Vogue Magazine Cover
Washington, D.C. - While some might consider it a milestone that basketball star LeBron James became the first black man to grace the cover of Vogue for the fashion magazine’s April issue, critics are saying the photo of him with supermodel Gisele Bundchen is racially insensitive and “screams King Kong.” Members of the Project 21 leadership network join with James and others in saying those complaining about the photo are making a big deal out of nothing.
“There are some people who view everything through the lens of racial stereotypes,” said Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli, who has worked as a professional model. “LeBron’s accomplishments on the basketball court lead him to the cover of Vogue magazine, making him the first black man to do so. Given the numerous disappointing stories involving professional athletes, LeBron’s story of success should be a focus and cause for celebration.”
Vogue’s April cover, advertising its “shape issue” that features articles on top models and athletes, is a photo taken by award-winning celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. In the photo, James - wearing athletic clothing, bouncing a basketball and seemingly yelling at the camera - has an arm around a smiling, gown-clad Bundchen.
Magazine analyst Samir Husni told the Associated Press the cover “screams King Kong” and that “when you have a cover that reminds people of King Kong and brings those stereotypes to the front, black man wanting white woman, it’s not innocent.” University of Maryland assistant professor Damion Thomas said photos such as this “reinforce the criminalization of black men.”
James dismissed the criticism of the photo. He told the Cleveland Plain Dealer, “who cares what anyone says?” Regarding his expression in the photo, he said he was “just showing a little emotion.”
Others suggest the criticism of the photo is racially-motivated for different reasons. In a Fox Sports column, Kansas City Star columnist Jason Whitlock wrote: “Would we be having this discussion if LeBron struck the same pose on the cover of Ebony while holding [model] Selita Ebanks? Think about it. And if we wouldn’t be having the discussion, what does that say about us? Are we only bothered by negative images of black men when the primary/sole consumer of the image is white people?”
“Do you want to know what I think is the real reason behind this non-controversy? There are people who are, and probably forever will be, racially hypersensitive for either personal or professional reasons. Nothing that reasonable people say or do will convince them otherwise,” said Project 21 member Darryn “Dutch” Martin. “I believe critics are using this canard of racial stereotyping as a smokescreen to hide their true disdain for any images of interracial closeness or intimacy between black men and white women.”
Project 21, a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization sponsored by the National Center for Public Policy Research, has been a leading voice of the African-American community since 1992.
