Coulter Calls Edwards “Faggot” - NOW Liberals Upset!

It’s funny when you find out exactly what it takes for liberals to get upset.

John Edwards is cranky because Ann Coulter said the following at CPAC:

“It turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot,’ so I’m kind of at an impasse — I can’t really talk about Edwards”

And the Edward’s camp is in a tizzy to the point where on John Edwards own website they are trying to use it to raise money:

Friday afternoon, Republican mouthpiece Ann Coulter brought hate-speech politics to a new low.

But if we recall the Edwards camp wasn’t all that upset about “hate speech” and “bigotry” a few short weeks ago when the Edwards camp hired potty mouth bloggers Melissa McEwan and Amanda Marcotte who made a habit of ranting and raving and degrading everyone under the sun especially Catholics and President Bush.

Well at least we know what it takes to get the Edwards camp upset. You just have to call their candidate a “faggot”.

Why Coulter chose to make that statement will surely be a subject of commentary and postulation. I think, knowing how Ann has written over the years, that she knew exactly what she was doing and how the Edward’s camp would react to show it’s own blatant hypocrisy. When it’s “their guys” doing it no problem. When the other side does it it is time to melt down.

Too bad that most of the liberals who would support John Edwards will never understand this or even care. Do as I say not as I do politics as usual for the left.
