Bernie Ward Finally Admits To Child Porn
First it was “research” or so Bernie Ward claimed when the left of Hillary Clinton radio talk show host was caught with child pornography. Now he has finally given up that pathetic defense and admitted to his guilt:
SAN FRANCISCO — Bernie Ward, the most prominent liberal voice on Bay Area talk radio for more than two decades, admitted Thursday to distribution of child pornography by e-mail in a plea deal that will send him to federal prison for at least five years.
Ward, 57, a former Roman Catholic priest, was a fixture on KGO-AM 810 for three hours every weeknight, known in recent years for his fervent denunciations of President Bush and the war in Iraq during his news talk show. He also hosted “God Talk,” a Sunday morning program on religion, and was a prolific fundraiser for the station’s charity drives.
But his career disintegrated Dec. 6 with the unsealing of a federal grand jury indictment, issued three months earlier, that charged him with two counts of distributing and one count of receiving Internet images of child pornography. KGO fired him Dec. 31.
At least in this one instance for his liberal it really was “all about the children,” a popular claim as to why leftists do what they do.
Bernie, I’d like to introduce you to your new prison nickname “Bunk Muffin” … have a great five years you sleaze!
If You Believe Anything – You’ll Follow Al Sharpton
Al Sharpton and others are still throwing a hissy fit over the verdict in the case of Sean Bell.
Mr. Bell was killed when the car he was in and those with him assaulted police officers, refused to heed clear and direct orders from the officers and the officers attempted to protect themselves from a threat.
Second guess the cops all you want but you cannot honestly say that they did not act properly when threatened. Those are the clear facts of the case.
But it does not matter to Al Sharpton and his legions of lemmings who are angry at the world and looking to blame someone else. One man, according to a report on wcbstv.com said, “We have to fight for something or we’ll fall for anything. It’s not just about Sean Bell. It’s about every man that’s been unjustly killed in America. The point to make to the people is to get their attention. It could be their son tomorrow or their daughter tomorrow.”
Apparently however the “something” that people like this want to fight for isn’t the truth. That is what is scary. Because they will fight for anything if they think they can make a point. It doesn’t matter if the point is correct or not – what matters is the narrative.
And in the narrative of Sean Bell, the fact that he and his buddies did a lot of stupid things in succession and put the police in the situation which resulted in his death is lost.
But hey - the narrative is good right? Fight the power!
And when you are in the same predicament as you are today but 20 years from now you can only blame yourself.
Reverend Al Takes On Obama
The arbitrary group of people known as “black-Americans” is tearing itself apart as leaders of different factions confront one another. In this instance, Revrund Al and Barack Obama are pitted against each other.
This could, of course, all be avoided if people would consider themselves just Americans instead of hyphenated Americans and believe that any time something happens to someone in their group of hyphenated Americans that some other group of hyphenated Americans must be made to pay.
Barack Obama made a call for nonviolence in the aftermath of the Sean Bell verdict - infuriating the Rev. Al Sharpton, who accused the presidential candidate of trying to “grandstand in front of white people,” sources told The Post.
During what a source described as a “heated” phone call yesterday, Sharpton told Obama he was disappointed with the Illinois senator’s words on Friday, when Obama said “resorting to violence to express displeasure” was “completely unacceptable and counterproductive.”
Barack, old buddy, old pal – don’t you know that “black-Americans” are the domain of Al Sharpton and how dare you contradict his authority over his little fiefdom assigned to him by the left.
Forget that, while tragic, the whole incident with Mr. Bell was completely avoidable on his part and he and his friends put the police in a situation where they had to make a decision – Revrund Al says burn the city! Teach those white devils a lesson!
And then shake your heads and wonder why some people get the opinions of that arbitrary group that they do.

Bush Criticized for Pardoning Drug Offenders, Embezzler While Leaving Border Patrol Agents Behind Bars
Washington, D.C. - The chairman of the Project 21 leadership network is condemning President George W. Bush’s issuance of a new set of presidential pardons March 25 that includes forgiveness for drug smugglers, an embezzler and others but not for jailed Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean.
Ramos and Compean entered prison in January of 2007 after a controversial ruling on their actions in apprehendng a fleeing drug smuggler.
“I believe the President’s stolid refusal to pardon Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean is the most unconscionable act of disloyalty he has perpetrated upon those sworn to protect our well-being. I know this feeling is shared by many other patriotic Americans,” said Project 21 Chairman Mychal Massie. “This sends a disturbing signal to the men and women who protect our borders, not to mention how it must affect the morale of those serving overseas.”
On February 17, 2005, Ramos and Compean pursued Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila on foot after Aldrete-Davila abandoned a van containing 743 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $1 million. During the chase, Ramos shot at Aldrete-Davila in the belief that Aldrete-Davila had drawn a gun of his own. Aldrete-Davila escaped across the U.S.-Mexico border, and Ramos assumed Aldrete-Davila was unhurt. In fact, Aldrete-Davila had been shot in the buttock.
U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton later charged that Ramos and Compean violated Border Patrol policy by pursuing Aldrete-Davila without supervisor approval, moving spent shell casings and improperly reporting the fired shots. Aldrete-Davila was granted immunity to testify against the agents. Ramos and Compean were sentenced to 11 and 12 years in prison, respectively. They are currently in solitary confinement in maximum-security prisons.
The Ramos and Compean convictions have been questioned by many, who point to the following: During the trial, jurors were not told of Aldrete-Davila’s continued drug trafficking, for which he has now been arrested and indicted. Jurors were also unaware that a fellow agent who testified against Ramos and Compean is a life-long friend of Aldrete-Davila - a violation of Border Patrol Policy in itself.
T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, a labor union which has organized workers at the agency, testified before the U.S. Senate that a medical examination of Aldrete-Davila supported the agents’ description of events and complied with Border Patrol and Justice Department policies.
The convictions of Ramos and Compean are currently on appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
“Leaving good cops behind bars is unconscionable,” added Project 21’s Massie. “President Bush can argue he is granting mercy only after sentences are served, but we cannot forget that he immediately commuted the sentence of his friend and political ally Scooter Libby. Similar clemency should be given to Ramos and Compean, if not a full pardon. If he refuses, we can only hope that the next president will not only do so but also treat our courageous border guards with the respect they deserve.”
Massie wrote about the Ramos and Compean case in a commentary published in The Washington Times on December 28, 2007. This commentary is available at http://tiny.cc/MassieRamosCompean online.

When We Value Items More Than Our Children
Unfortunately, too many people value material possessions more than they value their children. And when it comes time to chose between their possessions and their children, well they take more offense when their possessions are damaged.
PHILADELPHIA—A man who killed his 17-month-old daughter in a rage over a broken Xbox was sentenced to more than two decades in prison.Prosecutors said Tyrone Spellman, 27, killed Alayiah Turman in September 2006 with at least five blows to the head when she pulled down his Xbox console. The force of the blows cracked the toddler’s skull several times.
A jury convicted Spellman of third-degree murder and child endangerment in January. He was sentenced Thursday to the maximum 22 1/2 to 45 years in prison.
Yeah, good response there you idiot. Child breaks Xbox so retarded dad breaks his child. Video game consoles can be fixed and replaced. You can’t fix a dead child.
This man got off too lightly if you ask me. He should get the same fate as the one he gave to his daughter.
Undocumented immigrants will get ‘No Pass’ on border
Starting Monday, every undocumented immigrant caught crossing the border between Mount Cristo Rey and the Paso del Norte Bridge will be prosecuted, Border Patrol officials said Friday. Captured migrants are now fingerprinted, and if they have no criminal history, can be returned to Mexico within hours without being formally deported or serving jail time. The new, zero-tolerance program, called “No Pass,” is reminiscent of Operation Streamline, which started in 2005 in the Del Rio, Texas, sector and has spread to Laredo, Texas, and Yuma, Ariz.
US to raise fines on employers of illegal immigrants
WASHINGTON — The Bush administration said Friday that it plans to significantly raise fines for employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants, part of a broader effort that includes improved border security after Congress failed to pass immigration-related legislation in 2007. The hikes in employer fines will be the first since 1999. The new policy is the latest aimed at the most sensitive pressure point in illegal immigration: businesses that employ the workers. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has intensified raids on rogue companies in the last three years, prosecuting executives on criminal charges and arresting workers, who often use valid Social Security numbers, for identity theft.
Traffic Stop Yields Forged Cards
SELIGMAN, Ariz. — A 30-year-old illegal immigrant has been booked on two counts of forgery and one count of identity theft after he was arrested during a traffic stop near Seligman, said the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. A YCSO deputy stopped a white Chevy S10 pickup, displaying California plates, for excessive speed on the eastbound Interstate 40 at milepost 115 Wednesday afternoon. The driver, Donaciano Bahena-Bahena, provided a Mexican Consular card as identification, deputies said. The deputy also noticed a Social Security card and Permanent Resident Card in his wallet that displayed an unrelated name and date of birth, deputies said.
Further Proof “Gun Free Zones” Don’t Work
I seriously wonder how long it will be before the citizens wise up and defy their masters who tell them that they should not (or cannot) be properly armed to defend themselves. Even after Virginia Tech we still have people who think that because a piece of paper squirreled away in a drawer somewhere designates where they are as a “Gun Free Zone” that they will be safe.
DEKALB, Ill. - Another person shot when a gunman opened fire at a lecture hall at Northern Illinois University has died, bringing the toll to seven, including the gunman, a coroner said Friday.Investigators and school officials did not immediately know why the man indiscriminately fired into the crowd with a shotgun and two handguns Thursday, wounding 15 people and sending panicked students fleeing for the exits before killing himself.
“We have no motive and I have no way of knowing what the motive was,” University Police Chief Donald Grady said.
…
This one, like some others before him, even stopped to reload. One gun. That’s all it would have taken. But that campus, like all the others, is a “gun free zone”.
Yeah. So maybe it is time to defy the masters and have your own gun. It takes seconds to shoot a handful of people and minutes for cops to respond. Who loses when that is the case?
Or you could just be a sheep and think that government will protect you and your rights.
News flash! Criminals DO NOT OBEY LAWS WRITTEN ON PIECES OF PAPER!

License helps man obtain weapon
BANGOR - Niall Clarke’s journey to a local bank, where he pointed a loaded gun at bank tellers and fled with more than $10,000 in cash, began with a chance encounter in a Boston bar with a Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles official on St. Patrick’s Day 2006. Robert O’Connell, the BMV’s director of licensing services, helped Clarke obtain a Maine driver’s license believing the Irishman was in the country illegally, court documents reveal. Clarke’s visa expired two weeks after he obtained a Maine driver’s license in April 2006. O’Connell did not know Clarke intended to use the driver’s license to buy a gun in Brewer and brandish it while robbing the Bank of America branch on Bangor Mall Boulevard on Oct. 4, 2006. Clarke was arrested on Interstate 95 moments after bank employees provided police with the license plate number of his getaway car.
