How far will liberals go to keep their power and those that support them happy? One needs only look at how Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius has handed government officials that have gone after Planned Parenthood in her state for allegedly performing illegal late term abortions and covering up statutory rape which is required to be reported by law:
This should have been a banner week for women with a woman governor (and potential vice-presidential candidate by many accounts) giving the Democratic Party’s response to President Bush’s State of the Union address. But Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius has been a disappointment when it comes to representing women’s interests, with unfortunate shades of deja vu of a feminist standing behind a man accused of sexual harassment.The story begins with Mrs. Sebelius persuading a local district attorney, Paul Morrison, to leave the Republican Party to run as a Democrat for Kansas attorney general in 2006. With a massive influx of out-of-state abortion industry money and support from organizations such as Planned Parenthood, Mr. Morrison was elected attorney general.
He defeated Phill Kline, the incumbent who was investigating alleged illegal activity at late-term abortion clinics, including a Planned Parenthood clinic in Johnson County, a suburb of Kansas City. Once Mr. Morrison replaced Mr. Kline as attorney general, he publicly dropped the investigations. In a twist worthy of a movie, Mr. Kline replaced Mr. Morrison as district attorney of Johnson County.
Mr. Kline doggedly pursued his suspicions and late last year a district judge found probable cause on 107 felony and misdemeanor counts against Planned Parenthood, which included performing illegal late-term abortions and falsifying abortion records. A grand jury in Kansas is currently investigating these allegations, as well as charges against Planned Parenthood for covering up statutory rapes of underage girls.
Wendy Wright, Andrea Lafferty and Jennifer Giroux have done an excellent job uncovering this tale of mystery and intrigue which basically boils down to this summary. Planned Parenthood is increasingly under fire these days and finding it harder and harder to cover-up their idea that murdering babies and hiding child raposts is actually the proper thing to do. And Gov. Sebelius is right in middle of it.
Murdering babies which are human beings the second they are conceived (take a basic biology course if you doubt this) is not right. But being able to continue to murder babies is something that the left wants to keep doing so they will fight tooth and nail to be able to keep doing it.
Why should you be worried? Because if they are willing to murder babies to keep their power what makes you think they are not interested in murdering you if you are considered expendable by some arbitrary standard they set?
Think about it.
God Defies Doctors Who Try To Abort Child
They say twins share a strong bond - but the one between Gabriel and Ieuan Jones was unbreakable.
When doctors found that Gabriel was weaker than his brother, with an enlarged heart,and believed he was going to die in the womb, his mother Rebecca Jones had to make a heartbreaking decision.
Doctors told her his death could cause his twin brother to die too before they were born, and that it would be better to end Gabriel’s suffering sooner rather than later.
Mrs Jones decided to let doctors operate to terminate Gabriel’s life.
Firstly they tried to sever his umbilical cord to cut off his blood supply, but the cord was too strong.
They then cut Mrs Jones’s placenta in half so that when Gabriel died, it would not affect his twin brother.
But after the operation which was meant to end his life, tiny Gabriel had other ideas.
Although he weighed less than a pound, he put up such a fight for survival that doctors called him Rocky.
Just think about how many other healthy babies have potentially been aborted because doctors THOUGHT they knew what they were doing. God has strange ways of telling those who would be gods just how little they do actually know.
Life is precious. And it begins at conception. Take a biology course if you don’t think so.
Poll: 54 Percent of Americans Take Pro-Life Position on Abortion
A new poll conducted by CBS News makes it clear that a majority of Americans are pro-life when itcomes to the issue of abortion.
The October survey finds 54 percent of Americans take one of three pro-life positions opposing all or almost all abortions and another 16 percent want more restrictions on it.
The October 12-16 poll asked Americans to tell CBS News their “personal feelings” on abortion. The survey found that 16 percent of the public only favors allowing abortions “only to save woman’s life” and another 34 percent think abortions should only be allowed in the very rare cases of rape, incest or to save the mother’s life.
Another four percent of Americans want all abortions to be made illegal.
With the Planned Parenthood-affiliated Alan Guttmacher Institute showing that less than two percent of all abortions are done in cases of rape, incest or to save the mother’s life, the CBS News poll shows 54 percent of Americans oppose 98 percent of all abortions.
According to the survey, just 26 percent of the public wants abortions permitted in all cases. Another 16 percent want abortions to remain legal but to be subject to greater restrictions than they currently face.

Abortionist Upset Over Grand Jury
I’d throw a pity party, but I have no pity for this man:
TOPEKA, Kan. - One of the nation’s few late-term abortion providers is asking Kansas’ highest court to block a grand jury investigation of him and his Wichita clinic that was initiated by anti-abortion groups.Kansas is one of the few states where citizens can petition to impanel a grand jury. Anti-abortion groups collected nearly 7,900 signatures, more than three times the number required, to force Sedgwick County to create a grand jury to consider whether Dr. George Tiller violated a 1998 state law restricting late-term abortions.
Tiller denies the allegations and wants the Kansas Supreme Court to prevent the panel from convening. The grand jury is scheduled to meet Tuesday.

In Tiller’s petition to the Supreme Court, his attorneys argue that anti-abortion groups have a financial interest in his prosecution. Among other things, Tiller’s petition says, abortion opponents sold bumper stickers saying, “Charge Tiller. It’s the law.” The same slogan has appeared on T-shirts abortion opponents have worn at rallies.
Uh, but by his own “logic” he would have a “financial interest” in STOPPING his prosecution wouldn’t he? So what’s the difference?
This whole problem is solved when we stop ignoring that human life, by its biological definition, begins at conception and understand that protecting the right to “life” is one of the basic functions of legitimate government (see Declaration of Independence).

School Offering Birth Control Ignored State Laws
The same liberals that want to offer 11 year olds birth control, have been found to not be reporting cases of suspected statutory rape.
Portland’s school-based health centers have not been reporting all illegal sexual activity involving minors as required by law, but they will from now on, city officials said Thursday.Cumberland County District Attorney Stephanie Anderson questioned the health centers’ reporting practices after the Portland School Committee decided last week to offer prescription birth control at the King Middle School health center.
The King Student Health Center has offered comprehensive reproductive health care, including providing condoms and testing for sexually transmitted diseases, since it opened in 2000. The school serves students in grades 6 to 8, ages 11 to 15.
Maine law prohibits having sex with a person under age 14, regardless of the age of the other person involved, Anderson said.Well, looks like some good is coming out of this idiocy!
Murderers at Planned Parenthood Under Fire
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - A Planned Parenthood clinic was charged Wednesday with providing unlawful abortions and other crimes by a county prosecutor who had engaged in a high-profile battle with the clinic when he was Kansas attorney general.
Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline charged the Overland Park, Kan., clinic with 107 counts, 23 of them felonies. Besides 29 misdemeanor counts of providing unlawful late-term abortions, the clinic is charged with multiple counts of making a false writing, failure to maintain records and failure to determine viability.
Case documents have been sealed, according to a court order. The first hearing is set for Nov. 16.
Kline’s office did not immediately comment on the charges.
Peter Brownlie, Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri’s president and chief executive officer, said Wednesday that the group hasn’t had any contact with the district attorney’s office but has heard rumors for months that Kline, an abortion opponent, was planning to file criminal charges.

DUQ Says Go Away Planned Parenthood
WDUQ has caused quite a stir among liberals here in Pittsburgh by refusing underwriting support from Planned Parenthood on the basis that the organization does not hold the values of those that own the station at Duquesne University. Namely the Catholic Church.
Liberals are whining and complaining that it just isn’t right. You know, that the Catholic Church would not want to promote the largest murderer of children in the United States.
The move has caused consternation because DUQ is usually thought of as a “public” radio station because it broadcasts NPR programs. Lots of liberals are complaining that they had no idea that the station was owned (in actuality) by the University and hence the church that owns the university. This of course has lead to shock and outrage because the left often thinks that radio stations and other private individuals should be required to air their messages and promote their agenda.
Sorry folks, it simply doesn’t work that way!
Typically however, liberals are trying to put pressure on the station to reverse the decision. Marxists like Rep. Frankel D - Squirrel Hill have called on the station to change course and reaccept the ads even though they represent an organization that does things the Catholic Church abhors. So much for their vaunted belief in the “separation of Church and State”!
When they aren’t getting what they want all bets are off and agents of “the State” will be sure to tell even a church what to do.
Planned Parenthood Avoids Mentioning Abortion Services?
Margaret Sanger’s baby, Planned Parenthood has not be able to open a new site in Aurora just yet:
Aurora’s Planned Parenthood cannot open until the city’s outside review of the clinic’s permit process is finished, a federal judge said Thursday.The controversial far-east-side center failed to make the case it was unfairly targeted by the city because it would offer abortion services, U.S. District Judge Charles Norgle said.
But he also said Planned Parenthood could refile an amended request providing comparisons with other businesses that show how it was singled out.
“By no means is this case over,” he said to a packed courtroom.
Clinic officials said after the ruling they intend to do just what the judge suggested. Their center still will open; it’s just a matter of when, said Steve Trombley, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area.
In the meantime, the delay means “more women go without pap tests, birth control supplies and breast exams,” he said. “These are critical services that this community has been lacking.”
Notice how Mr. “I think murdering babies is ok” Trombley didn’t mention Abortion in that explanation? Does he think people are stupid? Does he expect us to think that Planned Parenthood id handing out candy to girls instead of murdering babies?
Planned Parenthood Secretly Buys Land for New Offices

Planned Parenthood, which receives $305.3 million in tax dollars a year, is the largest abortion chain in the United States and has killed more than 3 million children by abortion, according to the American Life League.
Pro-Abortion Groups Getting More Pathetic
It must be hard justifying support of murder.
(CBS) NEW YORK They’re ads you may have seen around New York City. They’re supposed to be promoting storage, but they have a political and comical edge to them.But their latest ad doesn’t have too many people laughing.
Its billboards have always been edgy, but has Manhattan Mini Storage gone over the edge?
The ad causing controversy depicts a coat hanger and takes a stance on abortion, along with the slogan: “Your closet space is shrinking as fast as her right to choose.”
Needless to say, it didn’t take long for the backlash to come.
“These billboards, we think they’re absolutely disgusting,” said Kiera McCaffrey of the Catholic League.
I continue to reiterate that abortion is murder and should be a capitol offense based on the protections of our Constitution. The Constitution charges the government with the duty to protect and defend the right to “life”. And life, biologically speaking, begins at conception.
Any pro-abortion advocate that would like to try and dispute these two facts is more than happy to take a stab at it and look foolish in the attempt.
