Will Reverend Al Sharpton Finally Meet His Waterloo?
Gene Lalor | October 16, 2013
The formerly chubby, 57 year old black racist agitator/Baptist minister Charles “Al” Sharpton, Jr. and currently anorexic black racist host of MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” may finally, God and leftist media moguls willing, be headed to the scrapheap of history.
“May” is the operative word.
Over the years, the notorious race baiter has survived a knifing and imprisonment, has instigated and starred in countless race riots and protest marches, has slandered Mitt Romney’s Mormon religion, has characterized the acquittal of George Zimmerman as an “atrocity,” has deftly dodged lawsuits and court-imposed penalties, and yet still ran for the Democrat nomination for the presidency and he is still welcomed as a frequent visitor to Obama’s White House.
However, when one’s own people turn on one, when four Harlem clergymen publicly attack one of their own, and when an aggrieved relative of an innocent victim of black mayhem exposes one as a hypocritical black racist anti-Semite, when a man he vainly tried to destroy with blatant lies launches a campaign to destroy him with truth, one would think even a “reverend” would be disgraced, cooked, and banished from the public arena.
With Al Sharpton, maybe not.
The Daily News reported on Monday that black pastors Carl Washington of the New Mt Zion Baptist Church, Kris Erskine of the Bethany Baptist Church, Patrick Young of the 1st Baptist Church, and Johnnie Green of the Pastor Mt. Neboh Church have had it with Rev. Al.
Those leaders of “Speak Out Say It Loud,” a new coalition of black ministers attempting “to create a unified African-American power base,” have invited over a hundred churches to join them in disempowering Sharpton and dump him “off his Harlem political throne.”
Also on Monday, Norman Rosenbaum, brother of Yankel Rosenbaum, the 1991 Orthodox Jewish victim of a violent black mob in Crown Heights who was murdered shortly after Sharpton said, “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house” and then led a march through Crown Heights chanting, “No Justice, No Peace,” demanded his brother’s case not be closed.
Rosenbaum ripped into Barack Hussein Obama, MSNBC, and the advertisers who support Sharpton and said, “I’m waiting for my invitation to the White House.” He added, “I’m waiting for President Obama to dedicate some resources to correcting a terrible wrong and pursuing the other 28 members of the mob that killed by brother, and to not consider the case closed, but to bring them to justice.”
Prior to Rosenbaum’s indictment of the president and the reverend, Steven Pagones, the assistant DA falsely accused by Sharpton along with five other white men of raping 15-year-old Tawana Brawley in 1987, also called on Sharpton’s MSNBC advertisers to drop supporting PoliticsNation.
Pagones, who won a defamation suit against both Brawley and Sharpton, was incredulous “that people lend any amount of credibility to Sharpton as a person, as a leader, as an activist, and most of all, as a source of truth.” Pagones said he was “dumbfounded at how advertisers accept what he has done not only to me but to so many others in situations involving race situations that . . . he escalated through race-baiting.”
(Mondelez International, the owner of Ritz Crackers, is one of Sharpton’s principal advertisers. Mondelez can be reached at (855) 535-5648 or tweeted @RitzCrackers, hashtag #SharptonsCrackers should readers wish to express an opinion on why they are lining a proven black racist’s pockets. Or, even better, sign a petition at TruthRevolt.org, http://tinyurl.com/jvkjnjl, to register your views on why any company would support a racially-divisive demagogue.)
Will Reverend Al Sharpton’s well-established racist, anti-semitic, divisive history result in his downfall? Considering his Obama White House connections and lily-livered corporation CEOs, that scenario is as likely as Norman Rosenbaum getting an offer to host a show on MSNBC or receiving an invite to discuss the race situation in America with President Barack Hussein Obama: slim to less than none.
