SSG Thomas A. Baysore, Jr., 31, USA, Milton, PA, ANC 15 OCT 13

SSG Thomas A. Baysore, Jr., 31, USA, of Milton, Pa., died 26 Sep 13, in Paktya Province, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire during combat operations. He was shot by a man wearing an Afghan National Security uniform. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, KY.

SSG Baysore is to be interred on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 15 Oct 2013 at approximately 1500 hours from the Administration Building. PGR has been invited to attend the services for this warrior, and we will be there to stand tall silent and proud in honor of this American Hero, his family, friends and comrades at arms.

Stage: 1330 hrs.
IWO Jima War Memorial
** SPECIAL NOTE: If Govt Shutdown continues, IWO JIMA Memorial will be closed, stage location moves to North Meade Street, directly behind IWO Jima Memorial.**
Brief: 1345 hrs.
KSU: 1400 hrs. Transit to ANC
Honors: 1500 hrs. Graveside ANC (Time Approx.)

Iron Horses are preferred, and cages welcomed as always.
Mounted large flags preferred for the transit to ANC (furl upon ANC parking).
Large hand-held flags NOT used in ANC for graveside services.
Military mandated ID / gear NOT required for this mission.
Dress & hydrate accordingly

NOTE: Concealed/carry permits are NOT recognized on military installations and federal reservations. Therefore do not bring firearms to this mission!
