This is a confirmed mission for the Patriot Guard to honor SPC Jessie L. Tolbert, USA, OIF Vet., Inwood, WV, who passed away December 30, 2012. It is a go, all contacts have been made. Services at ANC are scheduled for Friday, July 5, 2013, at approximately 1300 hrs. The family had private services for SPC Tolbert on January 5, 2013, and has graciously invited us to accompany them as SPC Tolbert makes his final journey to ANC.

SPC Tolbert was born February 3, 1986, in West Palm Beach, FL. He attended and graduated from Magruder High School, Rockville, MD, in 2004. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2005 and served until 2008. He suffered from traumatic brain injury and severe PTSD. He had a free-spirited nature and he loved to cook, hunt, fish, kayak, and working with his hands.

He is survived by his mother, two siblings, a grandmother, and his girlfriend.

NOTE: Conceal/carry permits are NOT recognized on military installations and federal reservations. Arlington National Cemetery is a federal reservation. Do not bring weapons or hazardous materials to this mission.

3 x 5 hand-held flags will not be needed for this mission. If you have flag(s) mounted on your bike, make sure your rig has been tested prior to arrival at the United State Marine Corps War Memorial. All rigs will be inspected prior to departure.

The weather forecast for Friday, July 5th is chance of thunderstorms (30%) with a low of 73 degrees and high of 88 degrees. Check the weather prior to your departure and dress appropriately. Bring water to stay hydrated. Do not let the weather keep you away, you may cage to this mission.
