The family of U.S. Navy veteran Peter M Pietro have requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation.
Pete entered the Navy in 1962 and served on the destroyer USS Power, DD839.
After his service Pete worked for Bethlehem Steel and was very active in worker’s rights. Pete rose to become President of USWA Local 2600. He was also active in many other causes and volunteered for many civic and charitable events as well as being a councilman for the Borough of Freemansburg.
This HERO stood for us and now it’s our turn to stand and honor his service.
