MCAS Iwakuni Professional Military Education

Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Japan recently held a Professional Military Education (PME) seminar at a breakfast on the base.

The primary speaker for this event was Marine Corps Installation Pacific’s SgtMaj, Sergeant Major Patrick L. Kimble.

Meeting Sergeant Major Kimble had special significance for our Marine as during his career he has served as a Marine Security Guard, something that Corporal Andrews is hoping to do.

SgtMaj Kimble attended Marine Security Guard School, Class 2-96 and was posted as the Detachment Commander at the American Embassies in: Santiago, Chile, South America; Djibouti, Republic of Djibouti, Africa; and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, East Africa.
