Something Is Very Wrong in America

When innocent people are dying in America, something is very wrong in our country.
When defenseless human beings are being slaughtered and our politicians do nothing about it, something must be done to save the victims.
When the fates of those defenseless individuals fail to cause Americans to rise up en masse and demonstrate and protest and demand the victims’ lives be protected, something is almost beyond repair in the United States of America.
When a so-called reputable organization is able to financially benefit to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars in tax dollars to execute blameless babies, something is truly amuck.
Obviously, I’m not referring here to the senseless, unprovoked murders in Newtown, CT nor to the atrocity in Aurora, CO nor to the mindless assassination attempt outside Tucson, AZ nor to Virginia Tech nor to any other gun violence committed by unstable, maniacal people who should have been in mental institutions rather than out on our streets able to perpetrate homicidal havoc.
In 2010 there were an intolerable 358 deaths in America involving rifles and deaths involving the use of pistols totaled 6,009 including suicides. In 2011, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America performed 333,964 abortions which works out to one execution every 94 seconds–more than 50 times the number killed by gunshot wounds.
Yet, the nation’s politicians are in a state of near-hysteria over curbing guns and continue to fund PPFoA to subsidize its program of genocide.
What’s wrong with that picture? Everything!
Based on its 2011-2012 report, (which never once mentions its principal nefarious activity, abortion), the PPFoA outdid themselves by performing some 4,500 more abortions than they did the year before, a real bloody feather in their corporate caps thanks in large part to $542.4 million in “government health services grants and reimbursements†including “payments from Medicaid managed care plans.â€
As governors like New York’s Andrew Cuomo try to cash in on the recent shooting horrors by ranting over the need for  “sweeping†gun control reforms by proposing the “toughest†restrictions in the nation which he hoped would lead to similar laws throughout the land, Planned Parenthood goes about its business of killing pre-born babies at the rate of 40 per hour.
In his impassioned State of the State speech on Tuesday, Cuomo pulled out all the emotional stops with lines such as “Gun violence has been on a rampage as we know firsthand and as we know painfully. We must stop the madness.”
Indeed, madness is rampant in America, both the madness of certifiable madmen and the madness of elected madmen and madwomen paying abortionists like PPFoA to kill innocent pre-borns.
As William Bigelow observed on Breitbart.com, “The despicable assault on the helpless, with the aid of the Obama administration, is even more powerful than it has been heretofore. It’s time to take the gloves off and show young women what actually happens to the babies inside them. Even if we cannot yet pass legislation outlawing the procedure, we must pass legislation that requires abortion clinics to show ultrasounds to women about to have abortions.” (http://tinyurl.com/az2j65n)
Fat chance in our abortion-happy society for that very reasonable suggestion, Mr. B.
However, a more hopeful sign that America may be coming to its moral senses comes, from all places, the ultra-liberal Time magazine. Time reported on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s worst decision since Dred Scott v. Sandford in 1857 that “40 Years Ago, Abortion Rights Activists Won an Epic Victory With Roe v. Wade. They’ve been losing ever since.â€
One can always hope the baby killers continue to lose.
