Toys For Tots

Since 1947, the United States Marine Corps has been making Christmas a happier time of year for children whose families may be struggling to provide a happy holiday season.
Some things you may not have known about the Toys For Tots program:
Established and run by the Marine Corps Reserves, they ask that you do not donate toys that suggest violence, ie toy guns.
Toys must be new and unwrapped.
The idea is give each child three toys and one book: a regular toy, a stocking stuffer, a stuffed animal or a ball and an age-appropriate book.
They ask that you refrain from donating clothing.
The suggested price range or donation amount is 20-30 dollars, although anything that you can do to help is appreciated.
Gifts for children younger than two and those 10 to 14 are often in short supply.
