Rumors Fly Over Obama’s ‘Stand Down’

He stressed that it’s only a rumor, but it’s a damning rumor. Newt Gingrich appeared on the Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Show Tuesday night and revealed a virtual bombshell – the liberal media may be SITTING ON leaked E-mails that PROVE without a doubt that President Obama gave the order to stand down during the terrorist attack in Benghazi that killed 4 Americans including our Ambassador, Chris Stevens.

If true, that means Obama gave the order to NOT send in C-130 gunships and Marines that were ready and waiting to be rapidly deployed to Benghazi in response to distress calls from the CIA operatives fighting back more than a hundred terrorists attacking our bases.

“There is a rumor – I want to be clear, it’s a rumor – that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said.
“But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action.”
“If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions…given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”
