Just a thought for you to ponder, sir.
You support for this idea is certainly appreciated!
I just started a petition on the White House petitions site, We the People. Will you sign it? http://wh.gov/XQnR
I wanted to let you know about a new petition I created on We the People, a new feature on WhiteHouse.gov, and ask for your support. Will you add your name to mine? If this petition gets 25,000 signatures by December 17, 2012, the White House will review it and respond!
We the People allows anyone to create and sign petitions asking the Obama Administration to take action on a range of issues. If a petition gets enough support, the Obama Administration will issue an official response.
You can view and sign the petition here: http://wh.gov/XQnR
Here’s some more information about this petition:
Imprison and execute Americans trying to secede from the Union.
America is a great nation. We are strong so long as we stick it out together. Impeach and or recall Obama before trying to separate the US. The states do not have the military capability to defend themselves. They do not have any capability of existing as separate nations. That is only detrimental to Americans, America and the Constitution. Anyone attempting to secede from the US should be given an option- leave or go to prison. After the sentence is confirmed, execute them as traitors. REAL Americans don’t run and hide. REAL Americans built this country, and it’s gonna take REAL Americans to keep America strong. There’s no room for cowards in America.
My, unkind, reply:
There is no way that I will support a petition that suggests the imprisonment and execution of Americans who wish to secede from the union. Such a philosophy is distinctly anti-American, and anyone who proposes such, or signs on to such, should be ashamed of themselves.
America was built on secession: secession from England. Our founding document, the Declaration of Independence sets for the basic right of people to break the ties that bind them to others when they become too oppressive.
All you will receive from me for this proposal will be mockery.
