Dictionary.com’s definition of “atrocity” as “behaviour or an action that is wicked or ruthless” falls far short of a realistic explanation of the meaning of the word.Â
Regrettably, Dictionary.com doesn’t define obamatrocities either.
“Atrocity” can also refer to hideous monstrosities, an extension of wickedness and ruthlessness and can apply to relatively minor wicked behavior or to truly monstrous ruthlessness.Â
Sometimes it’s difficult to distinguish between the two when it comes to obamatrocities.
For example, was it a minor or major atrocity for Harvard Law student Obama to say in 1991 that it’s acceptable to restrict free speech in the interests of protecting minority rights?
Was it a minor or major obamatrocity for then-State Senator Obama to refer in 2004 to a living fetus as a “potential life” when pre-born babies have all their necessary human parts and need only to be born?Â
Was it a minor or major obamatrocity for President Obama to say in Virginia earlier this month that “We don’t believe anybody is entitled to success in this country” when that statement contradicted everything Americans have long held true? Â
Was it minor or major that Pat Smith, the mother of Sean Smith, one of Obama’s four “bumps in the road” murdered by terrorists in Benghazi a month ago, told Anderson Cooper that she’s still waiting for an explanation of why her son is dead after being promised answers by everyone including the president? After all, he called Sandra Fluke! Â
Were the countless other Obama decisions and remarks made over the years, his comments, opinions, observations on our nation and the world and the actions of his administration that fly in the face of traditional American values and beliefs, major or minor obamatrocities?Â
That depends on one’s definition of “obamatrocities.” Some things Obama and his sicko supporters have done, however, clearly qualify as significantly atrocious.
In view of all Obama’s bowings and scrapings, his repeated defenses of Islam, his denial of the reality that America is engaged in a worldwide war with Muslim terrorists, the revelation that Obama wore a Muslim ring at Harvard Law, the same ring he wore at his wedding to Black Panther advocate Michelle LaVaughn Robinson in 1992, registers as a major obamatrocity.Â
He has worn the ring, emblazoned with what Arabic language experts translate as part of the Muslim declaration of faith: “There is no god except Allah,” for thirty years.Â
See all the photos of Obama’s Islamic ring at WorldNetDaily.com: http://tinyurl.com/8fryb2l.
Even more wickedly obamatrocious was our president’s intimate relationships with lowlife domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn and his ties to his revered pastor of 20 years, Rev. Jeremiah “God-damn America” Wright.
Someone who won the presidency partly due to his pretense of being an American and a practicing Christian and not a closet Muslim–nor an adherent to Wright’s racist preachings–should be called to account for his smarmy, un-American background.Â
Unfortunately for our country and like John McCain in 2008, Mitt Romney so far is taking the high road to defeat in 2012 by not justifyingly tarring and feathering Obama with ugly truths from his past.Â
One last example of a vile, major obamatrocity was the treatment accorded the beautiful black actress Stacey Dash, a case that vividly illustrates the depths to which the executors of obamatrocities will sink.
Ms. Dash may have made a career-ending move by exercising her privileges as a citizen of the United States by endorsing the candidacy of Governor Mitt Romney and then courageously explaining her decision by using the words of Martin Luther King in a totally unnecessary defense.
As she said to CNN’s Piers Morgan, “This is my choice. This is the man I want to lead my country. It’s my right as an American citizen, it’s my constitutional right to have my choice to who I want to vote for for president. And I chose him not by the color of his skin, but the content of his character.” (emphasis added)
Ms. Dash was remiss in one respect: She failed to recognize the new America. Today, the content of someone’s character greatly pales in significance compared to the level of melanin in one’s skin and the level of leftist venom dictates what we must think, believe, and articulate.Â
Beacuse of her honesty, Ms. Dash was inundated on Twitter; most are unprintable.
She was attacked with such outrageously vicious tweets as “This hurts, but you a Romney lover and you slutting yourself for the white man only proves why no black man would marry u,” “She’s an indoor slave, you know that, sis,” “You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney. You’re voting against yourself thrice,” ”You poor beautiful idiot,” and a description of the actress as a ”white with a dark tan.”
Though she had some black defenders, black tweeters were largely shocked that an African-American would vote for anyone except Obama thus reinforcing the view that he could be re-elected in November not because of his competence, achievements, and character–all of which are questionable–but because of “the color of his skin.”Â
Big Brother is alive and well in America albeit with a different complexion from Orwell’s creation. It’s a very sad state of affairs when, as my mother used to say, “People turn on their own” and sadder still when Twitter twits tweet racist obamatrocities.
