PGR Mission Alert: Court of Valor Memorial Ceremony

Carl | September 14, 2012

COURT OF VALOR MEMORIAL CEREMONY
YORK PA SATURDAY 15SEP12
The staff and management of Prospect Hill Cemetery have requested PGR participation when 19 more York County heroes have their names added to the memorial dedicated to their service.
As we have done in the past, we will once again gather together and stand tall, silent and proud showing our respect, admiration and thanks to all those who have served and their families.

This memorial is a pair of black granite columns topped with a large 9’11″ steel beam from the WTC which the PGR escorted in when it was obtained from NYC. Each column has many names of York County natives who have served this country and received medals for their service. All those on this memorial were nominated and approved by a veterans committee and several of these heroes will be in attendance at this ceremony.

Please take the time to come out and show your respect and admiration when we once again honor these outstanding patriots.
This event is rain or shine, watch the weather and dress accordingly.
Those who have attended this event in the past know the ride from staging to the location is only about 1/4 mile, and that the location offers little shade from the sun so be prepared and stay hydrated.
