CW3 Brian D. Hornsby, 37, US Army, Melbourne FL, ANC 18 Sept 2012

This is a Confirmed ANC Mission Plan in 2 parts!

CW3 Brian D. Hornsby died 16 August 2012, in a helicopter crash northeast of Kandahar, Afghanistan. CW3 Hornsby, a highly decorated U.S. Army Pilot, was one of seven American troops among the 11 people who died in the crash of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1998 as a Military Policeman, and was selected for the Army Warrant Officer and Aviation Programs in 2001.

CW3 Hornsby will be laid to rest on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on 18 Sep 2012 at approximately 1100 hours, from the Memorial Gate.

PGR will mount an Honor flag Line for the visitation on 17 September and on 18 September will provide brief Honors at the funeral home prior to escort, a mounted escort from the funeral home to ANC and then graveside Honors.
