Don’t Let The Facts Get In The Way, Right?

So, I’m still getting some angry emails from the militant, pro-homosexual marriage advocates. And boy, are you loons way out there in left field!
I think that it would be important to point out to you loons, not only am I against the federal, state, and local governments passing laws granting homosexuals the right to marry, but that I am also against them doing the same for heterosexual couples. Of course, a little research on your part would have turned this tidbit up. But, since apparently you are too lazy to do your own research, and want to accuse me of simply being against state sanctioned homosexual marriage while supporting it for heterosexuals, I thought I would point out the inconvenient truth.
Under my “On the Issues” tab of this website, I have a whole section where I talk about homosexuality and also the oxymoron of gay-marriage. Here’s the link. But since I know that you sorts are generally too lazy to even click a link and learn the truth, I will reprint the applicable section here:
States need to stop, first, getting involved in what is and is not marriage as such is a religious distinction. States need to stop, second, punishing or rewarding parties for entering into marriage. Do this and there is no reason for homosexuals to want to get married in the first and last place because in the eyes of government the institution has no bearing on societal standing.
Now stop making up fairy tales in your own heads just to try and argue with me. Because all you are is wrong. As always.
