A Few Sugarsticks for the Revelation of Jesus Christ

David L. Lamon

Key Verses:

Revelation 4:2 and immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Job 13:8 Will ye accept his person? Will ye contend for God?

Note: The scripture says Jesus was standing on the right hand of God but it also says he was sitting on the right hand of God and in the bosom of the Father so to rightly divide the word of truth we must understand this is talking about the right hand of power of God. (References for this is…Acts 7:55, Matthew 26:64, St. John 1:18). Add to this Jesus has all power Matthew 28:18 and you can better understand the true meaning of these scriptures. Colossians 1:19 for it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell. Colossians 2:9 for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. In this verse of scripture it is God mentioned not the second person of the trinity. Notice God was received up into glory. Ephesians 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) John 17:5 and now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

If you are a Trinitarian you must decide was it Jesus the Son of God the second person of the Trinity or was it God the omnipresent: (2 Chronicles 2:6, Col 3:11, 1 Cor 12:6, Eph 4:6), omniscient: (all knowing Job 37:16, Isaiah 46:10, 1 John 3:20) omnipotent: possession of all power, unlimited power (Job 42:2, Matthew 19:26) and invisible spirit of which no man has ever seen to include John the Revelator except in the person of Jesus Christ John saw on the throne? It couldn’t have been God according to Trinitarian teaching because they know like oneness Pentecostals… John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Exodus 33:20 and he said Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. Genesis 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved. Judges 13:22 And Manoah said unto his wife, we shall surely die, because we have seen God. Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Note: How can this be? The answer: Colossians 1:15-17 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

1 Cor 1:7, 8 So that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

John 8:27 they understood not that he spake to them of the Father.

Mark 4:11 and he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without (those called and chosen and later filled with the spirit of God), all these things are done in parables.

Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John 10:30 I and my Father are one. Look up the Greek translation on the word one here and you will see it is speaking in the neuter not masculine meaning one in essence, or nature, character, and substance as God. In other words whatever God is Jesus is.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Philippians 2:6: who, being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God.

John 1:1-3 in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Luke 10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
