Senate Republicans tried Wednesday to force Democrats to vote on President Obamaâ€™s plan to extend tax cuts for families making $250,000 or less â€“ a move blocked by Majority Leader Harry Reid amid concerns about incumbents fearing a vote on an unpopular plan.
