Cain Connections: ‘We didn’t build that’
Cain Solutions Inc. | July 24, 2012We didn’t build this newsletter – somebody else made that happenÂ
Like the rest of the country, we were thoroughly chastened this week by President Obama, who explained that those who have achieved wealth and success cannot and should not take credit. It wasn’t their smarts and it wasn’t their hard work. They would never have made it without the benevolent hand of government.
Well, never let it be said that those of us at Cain Solutions take credit we have not earned. So with that in mind, we hereby introduce our new staff listing, with full credit to those who are really responsible for our success:
Barack Obama – Editor in Chief
Joe Biden – Managing Editor
Nancy Pelosi – Spellchekker
Debbie Wasserman Schulz – Director of Disingenuousness
Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd – Directors of Finance
Harry Reid – Budget Director (it’s coming any day now!)
David Axelrod – Director of Ethics
We couldn’t have done it without them, we guess. And remember, if you’ve had success at anything, be sure to apologize to the rest of us and give proper credit to the government. If only we could all operate as efficiently as they do.
Cain in Reno on Monday for ‘Rubber Stamp for Failure Bus Stop’
We have it on good authority that President Obama will be in Reno on Monday. Too bad for him, Herman Cain will be there too! He’ll be speaking on Monday at Americans for Prosperity’s “Rubber Stamp for Failure Bus Stop,” which is designed to unite conservatives in opposition to Congresswoman Shelly Berkley – who is, as the name of the event suggests, a rubber stamp for every ill-conceived liberal policy Obama supports.
The event runs from 4:30-7 p.m. at 3702 S. Virginia Street. Here’s where you can find out more.
CainTV: Standing up for marriage
We won’t mention it, but there’s a popular left-wing site out that that practically celebrates divorce. With the rapid disintegration of the family in this country – and all the social and socioeconomic harm it is doing to the country, someone needs to stand up for the institution of marriage.
And that someone is CainTV, which celebrates the triumph of marriage – even when it’s hard – in the form of a unique blog by Jeremy and Michelle Gwaltney. Their latest entry tackles the truth about divorce and remarriage, and while we know this is not what the divorce-is-awesome crowd wants to hear, it represents hope for families everywhere. Don’t miss this courageous and crucial series by Jeremy and Michelle on CainTV!
Buy a book, get a pin: Keep the torch lit!
We want to arm you with the facts about the tax code, and its impact on the economy. And while we’re at it, we’d like to give you a cool pin too!
The tax code must be thrown out and replaced! This is why Herman Cain wrote, along with Rich Lowrie, 9-9-9: An Army of Davids. It not only explains the 9-9-9 plan in detail – giving you all the ammunition you need to explain it to people who just don’t get it (or don’t want to) – it also explains how ordinary Americans can make it happen by standing up the Big Government Goliath.
And because you’ve been such a strong supporter, we also want to offer you something extra when you buy 9-9-9: An Army of Davids.
If you order the book now, we’ll also send you a beautiful lapel pin with a torch Mr. Cain designed for those of us fighting for replacement of the tax code. It’s not a pin you can buy anywhere else, and we have only a limited supply, so please—order this important book today and keep the torch burning.
