A Marine Climbs Mt. Fuji
Carl | July 24, 2012
Recently my daughter and some of her fellow Marines decided to take a break from their duties at MCAS Iwakuni and take a short hike.
Twelve Thousand, Two Hundred and Thirty Three Feet to the top of Mt. Fuji in Japan.

"Today I accomplished the most difficult thing in my life. I climbed Mt Fuji. I want to thank my parents for supporting me, my drill instructors for pushing me, my high school choir director for inspiring me, my college sociology professor for challenging me, and my friends for their undying support. "It takes a whole village to raise our children." I cried when I got to the top, I can die happy tonight."
