Rand Paul Hurls Stones From His Dad’s Glass House
J.J. Jackson | January 4, 2012
I used to say of Senator Rand Paul that he was more reasonable than his father, Representative Ron Paul. I don’t know if I can keep saying that after his actions as of late where he is showing me that when his father cracks the whip and demands him to step in line, he does so without much questioning.
Yesterday Senator Paul was out ahead of the Iowa Caucuses stumping for his dad and attacking former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum over his non conservative ways. Of course, anyone who has read my thoughts on Santorum knows I have used Rick’s own publications to prove how non conservative he is. But for the Paul family to hurl stones from their own glass house? That is a bit much. After all, Ron Paul has a long and shameful record of supporting earmarks for his own district to fund all sorts of extra constitutional stuff.
I know Ron Paul likes to pretend at being a libertarian, but the reality is he has a lot of broken windows of his own that need fixed and which belie the truth about his own ideology of hypocrisy.
