There Is No Tomorrow. Literally!

At least in Samoa. The island nation is skipping December 30th, Friday, and heading straight on into Saturday. The reason is that they do a lot more trade with Australia, New Zealand, China and other nations just over the International Dateline (Samoa is 20 miles East of the Dateline currently) than they used to and the leaders believe it makes economic sense to skip this Friday all together.
In 1892 Samoa switched to the East of the Dateline because they wanted to be more associated with America. My how the times they are a changing.
