Remaining Litigants Have Until Jan. 2 to Decide on 9/11 Compensation

More than 1,600 people who filed lawsuits claiming that their health was ruined by dust and smoke from the collapsed World Trade Center have until Jan. 2 to decide whether to keep fighting in court or drop their suits and apply for government-funded compensation.
