Life changing

Jay Sekulow, ACLJ | December 30, 2011

For many, 2011 has been a life-changing year.

An American Christian missionary was freed from a Haitian prison, the United Nations said that Islamic Shariah (law) could not be used to persecute Christians – anywhere in the world, and pro-life pregnancy centers remained open despite Planned Parenthood’s objections.

These events and hundreds more saved lives and changed lives for the better. The ACLJ was instrumental in bringing about these great victories, but it was your support of the ACLJ that made it possible; and for that, I am eternally grateful.

Take action now to make sure we keep defending unborn babies and our religious liberties.

Midnight tomorrow night, December 31st, is the deadline for our unique year-end Matching Challenge. Every tax-deductible donation you give before midnight will be matched by a group of our donors, every $100 becomes $200.

I am grateful to so many of you who have already given, but we are still over $300,000 short of reaching our December Matching Challenge goal. The resources you provide right now will ensure that our life-changing work continues into next year.

This is a critical moment for the ACLJ. We will be filing two amicus briefs next week, one with the Supreme Court of the United States outlining why pro-abortion ObamaCare is unconstitutional, and another in federal court in defense of Alabama’s illegal immigration law.

We are still $300,000 short of our December Matching Challenge goal. Please make one final tax-deductible gift to the ACLJ in 2011.

In the year ahead, we have the opportunity to defeat pro-abortion ObamaCare once and for all at the Supreme Court – stopping the largest infusion of taxpayer funding for abortion we have ever seen and the largest expansion of abortion since Roe v. Wade. We will continue defending pro-life pregnancy centers around the country from anti-life laws that threaten to shut them down. We will continue to defend persecuted Christians living under Islamic law around the world, as well as continue to protect our religious liberties here at home. We will continue to defend Israel and our values from the threat of radical Islam.

None of this could be possible without your assistance. Now is the time to support the work of the ACLJ and the last opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation this year – our Matching Challenge deadline is midnight tomorrow night.

Please make a final gift this year toward the work of the ACLJ in defense of faith, life, and liberty.

Your tax-deductible gift will be doubled, but we must reach our $1,000,000 goal by midnight tomorrow night.

Thank you on behalf of all the lives that have been changed through your encouraging support for the ACLJ. You have made a tremendous difference in 2011, and together we can make an even greater impact in the year to come.
