BAD NEWS: Gov. Walker Recall is Rolling

Amy Kremer | November 29, 2011

Dear Supporters,

I can’t say that it wasn’t anticipated, but we are seeing some bad signs coming out of Wisconsin.  Reports show that in less than two weeks after the Recall petition drive started, the union and Democratic left-supported campaign has gathered well over 100,000 of the 540,000 signatures needed to qualify the Recall election of Gov. Scott Walker.

The pro-Recall campaign has until January 17th to gather the needed amount: so you can see, they are well on their way.  I think we all were wishful that they would fall short, but it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that they will likely get there without much of a problem.

We must not turn a blind eye to the strength and power of our opposition, but must gauge the strength of their petition-gathering and know that they will be just as intense in the Recall election itself.  We must match their resolve and commitment if we are to be victorious in defending Governor Walker and his conservative governance.

Please help us in matching the commitment of the union bosses, MoveOn.org, and the Obama Democratic machine in Wisconsin.

Here are some excerpts from the Human Events article that John Gizzi wrote last week that outline the situation perfectly:

The Recall election of Governor Walker is going to be the first battleground of the 2012 and the winner will take great momentum into the 2012 presidential election.  Please help defend Governor Walker and our Conservative values that are under attack by making a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more.
