Atheists target our military

Jay Sekulow, ACLJ | November 29, 2011

Every day threats to our liberty and to those who share our faith increase here at home and around the globe. The world continues to lash out against those who stand strong for the faith and values we hold dear.

The ACLJ is fighting back and we are winning, but new threats continue to emerge and we need your support today.

We are in our very important end-of-year Matching Challenge – a group of our donors have agreed to match any online gift dollar-for-dollar. Our November Matching Challenge ends in two days, and we are tens of thousands of dollars short of meeting our $350,000 November goal.

Please stand with the ACLJ to face these immense challenges by making a tax-deductible donation today, and it will literally be doubled through our Matching Challenge.

You will be standing firm in the fight to:

  • Keep our nation’s heritage from being wiped away by atheist groups – as we defend the cross on military installations in California and Afghanistan, and ensure that a Jesus statue war memorial remains in Montana.
  • Defend an 80-year-old pro-life counselor, who the Obama Justice Department is prosecuting for conveying his lifesaving message – just as he has been doing for years.
  • Defeat the largest expansion of abortion since Roe v. Wade – ObamaCare – at the Supreme Court.
  • Expose Planned Parenthood’s alleged fraud – bilking taxpayers of hundreds of millions of dollars – in the abortion giant’s operations in both Texas and California.
  • And remain diligent in the fight against countless other attempts to remove our faith from our local communities and to remove Christian faith from the Middle East and around the world.

Take action now to continue these fights. We need to hear from you in the next two days to meet our November Matching Challenge goal and continue our important work.

Our attorneys are preparing to once again defend the display of the Ten Commandments on public property – a case that we have already won at the Supreme Court – as it faces a new challenge. We are defending the Ground Zero Cross and other memorial crosses – symbols of our heritage – from constant attack by atheist groups.

Our attorneys in our offices around the world – in Europe, Pakistan, Africa, and Israel – are fighting to protect Christians like Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani in Iran, who continue to face increased persecution for their faith. We are also working with Members of Congress and Israeli officials as Israel faces the constant threat of legal and physical attack from its radical Islamic neighbors.

Will you take action with us today to defend life, faith, and freedom?

Your support is critical, and your gift will be doubled. Every $100 becomes $200, but we must meet our $350,000 November goal in the next two days to have the resources necessary to continue these critical fights.

Thank you for your commitment to liberty and for standing with the ACLJ.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

P.S. Our end-of-year Matching Challenge is critical to continuing the work of the ACLJ. And our first critical deadline – the November Matching Challenge – is in two days, but we are tens of thousands of dollars short of our goal. Please make a tax-deductible donation today and it will be matched, literally doubling your impact.
