This morning my colleague, Lloyd Marcus, reported to you on the new poll results which showed support for the Occupy Wall Street mobs had plunged from 54% down to 32% in just the past three weeks.
I wanted to share with you some other poll results that help to put this into perspective.
Democrat pollster Doug Schoen conducted a poll recently of Occupy Wall Street protesters in New York City’s Zucotti Park and found some very interesting results.
First, while the media’s false claim that these protesters were representative of mainstream, Middle Class America, and were not aligned with any political party or ideology, the facts tell us something different. According to Schoen’s poll, the percentage of protesters who said they were registered Republican was this: ZERO percent. 0%.
74% of the protesters voted for Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election. Therefore it is not surprising that only 25% said they were inclined to not support Obama’s re-election in 2012.
You see friends, this is why Democrat Leaders including Barack Obama have been cheerleading the “Ocuppy Wall Street” mobs. This is an important part of their base: radical leftists who want to push America into a more socialist country, and redefine who we are and what we stand for.
And we must back for a government that is instead grounded in the constitutional republican principles that our forefathers outlined in the Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence. Freedom and liberty work. Free markets and entrepreneurship work – they create jobs and economic opportunity for people of all classes and socio-economic backgrounds.
To this end we are raising money to launch our TV ad campaign showing how Democrat Leaders including Obama tried to promote these mobs.
