Illegals Say, ‘Adios,’ Alabama Citizens Say, ‘Gracias’!

The great state of Alabama appears to have found the answer to ridding the state of costly and dangerous foreign invaders.

As it turns out, the answer is amazingly simple.

To begin with, Alabama does not grant driver’s licenses to people in the state illegally, nor are illegal aliens able to secure in-state tuition breaks.

In other words, the state does not go out of its way to lure even more invaders into the state.

Further, Alabama does damn little to encourage the illegals already there to stay.

In fact, Alabama’s new anti-illegal immigration law, upheld (for the most part) by a federal judge this week, is causing illegals to get the hell out of the state, again proving that enforcing the rule of law will work, given the chance.

As reported at the reference, in part:

Education officials say scores of immigrant families have withdrawn their children from classes or kept them home this week, afraid that sending the kids to school would draw attention from authorities.

There are no precise statewide numbers. But several districts with large immigrant enrollments — from small towns to large urban districts — reported a sudden exodus of children of Hispanic parents, some of whom told officials they planned to leave the state to avoid trouble with the law, which requires schools to check students' immigration status.

Bleeding heart liberals will wring their hands in despair about the poor immigrants being discriminated against and driven away.

However, the fact is that illegal aliens are on the same moral plane as bank robbers. Illegals steal education, health care, and other public services to which they are not entitled. They have no legal or moral basis for being in Alabama or anywhere else on US soil.

Kudos to Alabama for defending its citizenry from invasions by non-English speaking foreigners.

Let the results in Alabama serve notice to other states struggling with invaders: Tough enforcement actions will cause large numbers of illegals to self-deport, and that is a good thing!

It’s a milestone for alabama to have succeeded in in fihgt against ilegal immigration. I am just wondering if the state is also ready for the economic repercussions that go with the exodus of the undocumented…the schools which will have less students would mean that they will need less classroom and less teachers, maintenance crew and staff;government agencies that were somehow serving undocumented people will have no more reason to exist thus workers will be out of work;small businesses made alive by undocumented will eventually die and many other direct and collateral effects of the vanishment…how will alabama’s government going to provide for their citizens who will be out of work for this reason? Sometimes, it’s so easy to condemn but we should need to be realistic, these people did not come here overnight, they had been part of the system since time immemorial, and any drastic change in the system will creat a hollow that will not be easily filled in. I haven’t read fully the content of this law, that is why I am in a quandery if it has provisions, on how the citizens who will be negatively affected by it, be taken cared of. I hope that the jubilant alabaman’s will be able to truly benefit from their law. Good Luck!
