Green Energy Subsidies Not A Winning Issue – Candidates Should Oppose Them

Are you a candidate for federal office?  Are you looking for an issue that is a slam dunk to get you approval from the mass of voters?  Then you need to look into opposing federal subsidies for “Green Energy”.  Especially in the wake of the Solyndra scandal which saw tax payers left on the hook for half a billion dollars to grease the palms of President Obama’s political allies.

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 57% of voters say that private companies through free market competition are better at developing alternative sources of energy.  Just 27%, that same, hard core, Marxist base that votes for Democrats every election, say government subsidies are the way to go.  With 16% undecided, you know some of those will break either way.

So by standing up against unconstitutional acts like the the government funding projects like alternative energy development which are seen as “socially” popular, you as a candidate know you have 60%+ of the electorate behind you.  Well, that is unless you are in San Francisco, Berkley or Massachusetts.  Hey, you can’t fix stupid!  So why try?

Now go out there and make a stand candidates!
