Execution of Christian Pastor Imminent
Jay Sekulow, ACLJ | September 29, 2011
Acting more like terrorists than judges, an Iranian court has upheld the execution sentence of Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani. Under the Iranian court’s interpretation of Shariah law, he could be executed for his faith as early as tomorrow.
Please read this update on Pastor Youcef I wrote for the Washington Post, the first major media outlet to publicize his pending execution. It is absolutely critical, as we are working to save this pastor’s life, that we continue spreading his story.
Please forward this email and share this article, “Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani faces potential execution,” with your friends on Facebook through the “Like” buttons in this email. It is critical that we put pressure on the Iranian regime to release Pastor Youcef, and share the travesty of Pastor Youcef’s situation with as many people as possible. It may be the last opportunity we have to save his life.
Today, please take a moment to listen to the Jordan Sekulow Show for a current report from a close personal friend of Pastor Youcef in Iran. The report is also linked in the article.
Thank you for your continued prayer for Pastor Youcef’s immediate release.
