What active faith looks like

Jay Sekulow, ACLJ | August 30, 2011

Yesterday, we told you about a new Washington Post article that discusses the impact Dr. Martin Luther King has had on conservative Christians and the work of the ACLJ.

Dr. King fought against the greatest civil rights abuses of his day. Likewise, as we battle against the greatest injustices of our day – fighting to protect the lives of the unborn and those who stand up for the pro-life message, as well as religious liberty around the world – the ACLJ has modeled many of our efforts on the example set by Dr. King.

Dr. King’s impact was profound. If you have not done so already, please read “MLK’s impact on conservative Christians,” an article I co-wrote with my dad, ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow, now.

When you take a stand for what is right, you are often criticized in this world, and no one knew that better than Dr. King. This is an important discussion and we need your voice. Join the dialogue by registering and posting your comments on the Washington Post website. Also, please stand with us by using the “Like” buttons in this email to share this article with your friends.

It is through articles like this that we are able to reach a new audience with the mission of the ACLJ, and you play an important role in helping us spread our message. I also want to let you know about a new way to keep you and others informed about the work of the ACLJ.

My dad has a brand new Facebook page where you can watch videos of the work he has done in defense of liberty at the Supreme Court. Please “Like” the Jay Sekulow Facebook page.

My dad is also now on Twitter. I know many of you follow me on Twitter, and I encourage you to follow @JaySekulow as well.

Thank you for standing with the ACLJ as we continue to find new ways to keep you better informed about the issues that matter to you the most.

Sincerely,

Jordan Sekulow
ACLJ Executive Director

P.S. Please take a moment to learn more about the new attacks on Christians from evolutionist, Richard Dawkins. In his latest round of attacks, Dawkins calls Christians “uneducated fools.” Read my response to his overt hatred for Christians and conservatives. As always, please remember to join the discussion in the Washington Post comments section.
