IMF Downgrades US Growth Predictions
J.J. Jackson | August 29, 2011
The IMF is souring on the US economy as it has lowered growth forecasts for 2011. Just a couple months ago the IMF was predicting an anemic 2.5% growth. Now it is predicting just 1.6% growth.
When will we ever get that Summer of Recovery we were promised? Sadly, it seems, not until President Obama is gone from office and be takes Harry Reid’s Democrat controlled Senate with him.
And even then, considering that that would mean Republican Control of government, it is at best a 50/50 proposition that things will get markedly better.
