As we quickly approach the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks that brought the threat of Islamic terrorism right to our front doorsteps, honor the troops who are still out there fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.
As much as we all wish that all of our troops could be home to commemorate and memorialize those lost on 9/11, the simple fact is that our missions there are still not over…and our troops are not quitters… they know they have a job to do and they are 100% committed to finishing it.
That’s why we have to be 100% committed to them, to support them until all of our troops can come home victorious. Please help us honor those troops who are still fighting by sending these special care packages for 9/11 to the troops who need them most!
One soldier wrote back to thank us for the care package we sent to her, sponsored by a MAF donor like you:
She Writes:
| “I would like to start off by thanking you for the box of wonderful items you sent. I know you help out many Soldiers by sending us these boxes, but I felt mine was special. I am not really a mail person so … I was so happy to receive the box. What you and your group are doing means the world to us soldiers and is just as important as the ones fighting on the front line. [editor's note: we have to disagree! The troops on the front lines are much more important, we're just doing what we can from back home to show our support! ]
You are keeping our [morale] up and giving us goodies we can’t buy at the P.X…that’s if the area even [has] one. I cannot express how much this simple box meant to me and my soldiers. Every single item was used. Thanks a million, you are truly awesome. “Roll Tide” - SSG [redacted] Kiera
