RSSALERT: New Polls for Wisconsin RECALLs!

Hello, it’s Joe Wierzbicki here, Executive Director of The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama. We have just obtained the latest poll results in 3 of the districts where Republicans are facing RECALL elections in Wisconsin on August 9th. The polls show some great news: we are holding on against the onslaught of millions of dollars by Obama’s allies, MoveOn.org, and the public employee unions.
Here’s a review of the results from three of the races. The poll was conducted by Public Policy Polling (7/21/-7/24). PPP is a traditionally Democratic polling firm, so if anything these numbers are skewed towards the Democrat candidates, which means we are probably doing even better than the results below show:
Since the fonts in that graphic are a little small, let me help clarify the results.
In Senate District 14, the Republican incumbent trails, but by just 2%.
In Senate District 2, the Republican leads by 4%.
And in Senate District 8, the Republican incumbent is ahead by 5%.
Again, this is very good news. While it shows these races are very, very close, it’s extremely encouraging that we are ahead in 2 out of 3 of these races, and trail by just 2% in District 14, according to a Democratic polling firm that probably has a bias towards the Democrat candidates in their polling methods.
We have been able to remain engaged in this fight because patriots like yourself continue to support our efforts with your contributions. We are going to make a major push today through Sunday, and are trying to raise $50,000 more for our campaign efforts in these final 11 days of the campaign.
Please, make a contribution of $25, $50 or $100 or, if you can afford it, a more generous contribution of $250, $500, $1,000 or more so we can fund our critically important campaign efforts to counter the RECALLs.
