Take A Stand Or Get Run Over While Stuck In The Middle

I hear a lot of “conservative” pundits supporting this candidate or that candidate in the early going for 2012. Often times they are rightfully hitting candidates like Romney and Huntsman hard because they are poor candidates and not at all conservatives themselves. But then these pundits make me cringe because they insinuate, if not directly say, that they will fall in line behind the GOP candidate whoever it may be. Yes, even if it is Mitt Romney.

I do not now, nor will I in the future, subscribe to such an idiotic and low standard of how I will vote in 2012. If, and I boldly say this now, it is ultimately true that the liberals within the GOP nominate a poor candidate, such as a Romney, in 2012 I will not, repeat not, vote for the GOP’s candidate.

Those saying that they would are just emboldening the liberal side of the GOP and giving them no excuse to compromise with the conservative, and correct, part of the party. They will see no need to look deep within themselves and decide whether or not liberalism (which they mistakenly refer to as moderation) is the way to go to defeat President Obama in 2012 with a slightly less liberal, and wholly inadequate candidate like a Mitt Romney.

We must, as conservatives, make it clear here an now that we will not accept a Mitt Romney as our nominee. And if the GOP liberal establishment insists on putting forth such a candidate that they will loose our support and the election.

As I have said for years, the RINOs must be made to choose. They must choose between socialism and liberty. We cannot keep letting them attempt to give us the non-existant “Third Way”.
