Liberals Just Need To Stop

Liberals make me laugh. For example, right now we are spending about $1.2 to $1.5 trillion more each year than we are bringing in. Even Republicans like Rep. Paul Ryan want us to spend $1 trillion more than we bring in next year putting him more firmly in liberal La La Land than in reality.

Now, knowing that we are spending some $1.2 trillion more (at a minimum) than we are brining in what do the liberals who have their backs against the wall propose? Follow along with the math.

They want to cut spending by about $1.2 trillion which would solve the problem except for the fact that they want to do so over 10 years. That amounts to about $120 billion each year. Ok. That drops us to spending roughly $1.1 trillion more than revenues each year.

Then on top of that they want to raise revenues. Not by growing the economy. Oh no. Liberals hate that. Instead they want to tax the rich. How much money are they talking about? $400 billion.

Now we know that will not happen by increasing taxes but liberals want to give it a go. Again, this is over 10 years so it is a paltry $40 billion a year.

See the problem here? Yep. Over the next 10 years liberals still want to spend over $1 trillion more than revenues each year.

But this is how they play the game. They throw out big numbers. But when those numbers are actually crunched the don’t amount to a hill of beans. Meanwhile they hope you will lose interest and let them have their way with your wallet.

Besides we all know that they will not cut anything and their plans to tax people they don’t like will not raise revenues so everything will be even worse. We’ve danced this dance before.
