Recovery Lost?

It was funny. But it was typical too. A few weeks ago the numbers for new claims of unemployment dropped slightly below 400,000 for the week. Liberals emailed me giddy over how everything was getting better because Obama’s policies were finally in full swing. My response is that it took two years for the Messiah to get his ass in gear? I also said that these happy liberals should watch the numbers over the next few weeks.

Since that time the number of first time claims for unemployment have been bouncing around 400,000 and showing and upward trend. This week they jumped, according to the Department of Labor, 25,000 to 429,000. That is a 6.2% increase from last week.

What is worse is that it is still well above the 300,000 to 350,000 mark needed just to not be losing jobs week to week. And it is well above the 150,000 to 200,000 we need to bring down real unemployment rates. I know the left and President Obama have been cooking the books since he cane into office to make unemployment look better than it really is. But as I showed back on March 5th it is all an illusion.

The economy continues to plod along as Americans see liberals still impeding any real progress by promoting socialism. And it isn’t going to get much better until America sees that liberals are certain to e out the door come January of 2013.
