Sarah Palin To Support Obama’s 2012 Re-Election Campaign

Semper Fi Parents | March 31, 2011

Judging by early indications, the biggest asset of the Barack Obama 2012 re-election committee is that darling of the Tea Party, Sarah Palin.

More than anyone else out there, Palin is working hard every day to help make sure that Obama is elected to another term as Commander-In-Chief.

Right about now, those of you that are Obama supporters are wondering "What's this guy talking about? Why haven't we heard this?"

While the members of the Tea Party are taking up a collection so that I can receive some psychiatric help.

However, before you get out your wallets, ask yourselves a question.

The question is: Will Sarah Palin be nominated by the Republican Party to be their 2012 Presidential candidate?

Alright, those of you who answered NO, give yourselves a pat on the back as well as a gold star for accepting reality.

Having settled that question, it stands to reason that Sarah Palin will be the Tea Party candidate in 2012.

The next step, before you start printing up Palin For President bumper stickers is to get out your history books and turn to the page featuring this man:

That is Texas businessman Ross Perot, the man many people credit with being the single biggest helper in the 1992 and 1996 elections of Bill Clinton.

In the '92 election, Perot started off as a very viable candidate, at one point polling much better than his opponents.
That didn't last long, his ego and paranoia led to his being seen by many former supporters as little more than a buffon.
Things didn't get any better in '96.

However, he did siphon off enough support and votes from the Republican candidates, George H.W. Bush in 1992 and Bob Dole in 1996 to make it easier for Clinton to win election both times.

OK. history lesson is over, now it is reality check time.

Sarah Palin may not be a re-incarnation of Ross Perot.
However, the results will be the same.
I'm not saying that I necessarily like the scenario, I'm just being realistic.

And here is what I forsee happening in the 2012 Presidential election:

The Republican Party does not nominate Sarah Palin to be their candidate for President.

The Tea Party does pick Palin to be their standard-bearer.

The Republicans, who at this writing don't appear to have a potential candidate who could possibly be elected, will split their time between trying to defeat Obama as well as Palin.

The Tea Party will do much the same thing.

So, split the vote of folks on the Right, and put that up against trying to defeat a sitting President, one who still has a formidable group of supporters that will work tirelessly to support Obama, and he won't have to worry about having forgotten his toothbrush at the White House.

AND, the added bonus for the Democrats is that once again, just as in '08, the Republicans will expend the majority of their focus on defeating Obama while aplying little concentration to House and Senate races, thus failing to make any significant gains in the Senate, and possibly losing House seats gained in 2010.

I may make a ton of enemies by saying it, but if you see this face in 2012 Presidential campaign ads

You will see face back at the White House
