Obama and the United Nations, Joint Enemies of America
Gene Lalor | December 27, 2010
It’s always good to know that someone is covering your back, that someone or some group is watching out for your welfare, ready to leap in and to willy-nilly throw cautions to any winds blowing to help, assist, give succor. America no longer has any of those someones, not even in the White House.
When our supporter is the United Nations and its aim is being directed by the U.N. Human Rights Council, unless you’re an oblivious, ignorant Obamian, you had better be on the alert. Members in that 47 nation council include Angola, Cuba, Djibouti, Maldives, Pakistan, Uganda, and Zambia, all of whom virtually or literally salivate at the thought of Americans’ standard of living and would do all in their U.N. HRC power to make us one of them.
When our supporter, a proven and crumbling rat’s nest. is “evaluating” during its quadrennial review of the nation that pays a large portion of the salaries of the reviewers, one should not anticipate any favored nation treatment. In fact, Americans should expect the precise opposite from that rabble on the East River and, regrettably, our president is on their side, not ours.
For 65 years, the U.S. has been the largest financial contributor to the UN. We are currently assessed 22% of the UN’s regular budget, 27% of its peacekeeping budget, plus voluntary contributions, for a record high, grand total of $6.347 billion in fiscal 2009: http://tiny.cc/plt42eki0y, all American tax dollars down the toilet.
It’s just a damned good thing we have money to burn right now!
In November, the U.N. HRC took up for evaluation the state of human rights in the United States, including consideration of the Arizona illegal immigration law which was referred to in a report to the HRC last August.
That report incorporated the following: “A recent Arizona law, S.B. 1070, has generated significant attention and debate at home and around the world. The issue is being addressed in a court action that argues that the federal government has the authority to set and enforce immigration law. That action is ongoing; parts of the law are currently enjoined.”
The Obama administration put the legislation of a sovereign American state on the UN’s table, subjecting SB1070 to international review and determination as to whether Arizona has infringed on the human rights of illegal immigrants in the United States.
And the U.N. jumped on it like starving dogs on carrion.
Not content with investigating Arizona, the United Nations’ hypocrites heard, “among other things, that the U.S. discriminates against Muslims, that its police are barbaric and that it has been holding political prisoners behind bars for years:” http://tiny.cc/844jk
Torture, slavery, dissident imprisonment, and mass murder in Third World countries weren’t on the U.N. HRC agenda.
However, things can always get worse. In fact, they usually do under the Obama administration.
In a pre-Christmas/Kwanzaa kick in the face to Americans, the president threw an even bigger bone into the ravenous United Nations’ maw.
According to WorldNetDaily.com, “President Obama is voicing support for a U.N. resolution that could accomplish something as radical as relinquishing some U.S. sovereignty and opening a path for the return of ancient tribal lands to American Indians, including even parts of Manhattan.”
That’s directly related to Obama’s professed penchant for sharing the wealth. He’s now plotting to share America’s real estate or, more precisely, to return Indian real estate we seized.
In a new take on the 1925 Rogers and Hart song, the U.N. may now take Manhattan, and maybe the Bronx and Staten Island, too, if it sees fit, as well other parts of American “indigenous lands” and return them to their rightful owners: “During a ‘tribal nations conference,’ Obama endorsed the ‘United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People,’ which includes a sweeping declaration that ‘indigenous peoples have a right to lands and resources they traditionally occupied or otherwise used’ but that later were acquired by occupying forces:” http://tiny.cc/beykw
Translated: Obama wants to return allegedly stolen lands to America’s “noble savages” so that they could re-build their teepees and resume their age-old traditions of tribal wars, scalpings, enslavement of enemies, and human sacrifice.
At what point do Americans put a stop to a world organization intent on destroying the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its greatest benefactor? At what point do we cease to allow a leader to continue to usurp his authority and to assist that organization in dismantling our country and destroy our freedoms and way of life?
2012 may be too late.
