Today we have learned that a new poll from Siena College shows Chris Gibson is on fire, running an astounding NINE POINTS above the radical anti-military candidate Scott Murphy! With less than a week to go, now we have a chance to break the back of Murphy’s campaign and retire him from Congress. Help us send the final blow and vanquish this anti-military liberal Democrat incumbent!

If you need a refresher course on the race for New York’s 20th Congressional District, here’s a reminder of why we’re supporting US Army Colonel Chris Gibson against the incumbent Scott Murphy, who trashed our military recruiters and called for ROTC to be banned from campuses.
As senior editor of the Harvard Perspective, Scott Murphy argued against allowing an ROTC presence on the college campus. An editorial written and signed by Murphy and two others stated, “The values enforced by the military — submission to authority, unquestioning obedience and a hierarchy of power — are contrary to the university’s values of independence, thoughtful inquiry and equality for all.” “ROTC does not meet Harvard University’s Academic standards.” “…racism has become institutionalized at all levels of the military…Black and other minority service men are victims of discrimination from the time they enter the services” SCOTT MURPHY: AN ANTI-MILITARY RADICAL! |
Graduated as an Army Colonel after completing his training through the ROTC program in Siena College, NY. During his faithful service in the military for 24 years he was highly decorated. Among his military decorations are 2 Legions of Merit, 4 Bronze Star Medals, the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge with Star, the Master Parachutist Badge and the Ranger Tab. For their actions in Mosul in support of the first national election in the new Iraq, his Battalion Task Force earned the Valorous Unit Award. For their actions in Tal Afar during the 2nd and 3rd national elections in Iraq his Battalion and the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment were recognized for excellence by President George W.
