Here’s the story you have likely heard. Though you have probably only heard it through the liberal filters that exist. Lauren Valle was viciously stomped on and attacked by Rand Paul supporters and one in particular named Tim Profitt. Mr. Profitt currently faces charges stemming from the incident.
The left is in a conniption about the event. Although they never had such outrage when SEUI thugs and other leftist goons were attacking Tea Party activists over the past year.
There is a reason why this incident is different although the left doesn’t want you to know it. Because it makes them look like even bigger hypocrites.
Whereas leftist goons have regularly attacked their political opposition while said opposition was minding their own business, Ms. Valle actually instigated this incident with Mr. Profitt. Ms. Valle is a liberal activist who has made it her life’s work apparently to be a protester for far left causes. I doubt she understands what she is protesting and why but like any good liberal she heads out into the world anyway to make waves. She even has an arrest record. But as for this incident, Ms. Valle was not just picked on willy-nilly. Nope, sorry liberals.
Ms. Valle was in an disguise sporting a wig that was so obviously not her real hair and she was making it known that her purpose was to get close to Rand Paul. Ostensively this was to give Mr. Paul a fake award. However she was actually belligerent with regards to this and when it became clear that she could not get through the crowd to make her chosen political statement, Ms. Valle began to get a little more aggressive. She wasn’t overly physical, but it became clear to the onlookers whom she was trying to push through that she was becoming agitated.
So view the situation from outside of liberal perspectives of how sweet and innocent Ms. Valle was attacked brutally. You have a woman, obviously agitated, trying to force her way through a crowd to get to a public figure. No one really knows what is going on in this woman’s mind but we have seen on repeated occasions fellow travelers of Ms. Valle assault law abiding citizens. From SEUI thugs assaulting a black tea partier selling bumper stickers to wackos trying to toss pies in the face of Ann Coulter we have a track record to go by. Does she mean Mr. Paul harm? No one really knows. But some people feel she is a potential threat.
And the law is actually on the side of those that restrained her.
Yes, believe it or not, Ms. Valle actually committed what is called “assault.” Now wait, I know what you are thinking. Assault? What? She did not attack anyone did she? No. But the problem with assault is that you do not actually have to touch or even physically harm someone to be guilty of assault. What you are thinking of is actually “battery”.
Assault is defined as, “acting intentionally and voluntarily causing the reasonable apprehension of an immediate harmful or offensive contact.” See, assault does not require harm be actually done, only that those in the area believe there is a reasonable chance of immediate harm or even just an offensive strike.
Remember, it is Ms. Valle that is putting herself our there, getting aggressive and even agitated. Mr. Profitt and others react because they feel that there is a threat either to themselves or others (including Mr. Paul). And that is all that is required for an assault to occur and for them to act in self-defense. That self-defense is what results in the restraining of Ms. Valle.
But if you listen to the left, Tim Profitt and others committed battery against Ms. Valle which is the act of actual contact and harm. But once they acted in what they believed to be self-defense of a perceived threat, the whole battery charge becomes frivolous.
And that, my friends is the truth about Lauren Valle. Sorry liberals. Nice try though and I am sure you will drum up some support from people that mistakenly understand what happened. But hey, hasn’t playing on the ignorance of people always been your modus operandi?
And if you still doubt my analysis site back. Just think, if you had a woman trying aggressively to get through a crowd to get to President Obama. Do you think the Secret Service would let her? No, probably not. Why, she might even wind up subdued on the ground possibly with a boot on her neck. But ignore the truth because Liberals want you to believe only what they tell you and thinking is not allowed.

Couldn’t refute the facts huh Keith? So you just do what a typical liberal does and slander and scream. Pathetic. This the the left folks! Remember when you vote this coming Tuesday. They cannot defend their actions so their opposition must be villified.
Normally we would just trash Keith’s vacant rant. but with so many people needing to be reminded about how the left thinks and how when they cannot deal with the facts they lash out I believed it was instructive to allow this one to pass. We get hundreds of these sorts of comments here every daythat just babble on and hurl names from the left and we spam them for the most part.
But can you blame us? This comment does nothing to further the post but libs like Keith are so filled with hate and so adverse to the truth that nothing is gained by posting it or the hundreds of others we get each week.
Um…did you really just compare these guys to the secret service? Yeah, the secret service would have had her on the ground before she had the chance to blink but they’re law enforcement officials – not just random citizens – and they’re being paid to protect the most powerful man in the free world. When they think our president is in danger, it’s their job to subdue the threat.
These dudes don’t carry badges. There were perfectly good security guards less than 10 feet away (don’t believe me? watch it again), people trained to handle these situations properly, and it should have been left up to them. I’m not saying the Rand supporters were wrong in taking her down. If they honestly thought she was a threat, they were well within their rights to restrain her until the proper authorities arrive to take over. You always have the right to protect yourself, your property, and loved ones provided it is done with REASONABLE force.
What Tim Profitt did was well beyond reasonable. Stomping – yes, STOMPING – on a woman’s head while she’s already being effectively restrained by several men considerably larger than herself is unnecessary, uncalled for, and illegal. His fellow campaign supporters had it under control, he just wanted to rough her up. I’m glad that there were others there to stop him before he could do more than send her to the hospital with a concussion.
I don’t have a problem with the tea party or conservatives in general – I don’t care who you vote for as long as you get off the couch and do it – but its people like this that makes them look like a bunch of nut jobs. By all means, fight for what you believe in but using sentiments like ‘don’t tread on me’ lose their charm after behavior like this.
Km I think your statement shows a pathological state of mind. You are all over the place. You say they were within their rights to take her down If they felt threatened and then bemoan the fact that they did indeed take her down. Well, which is it? I suspect you really do not likethe. Fact that she got taken out based on all this.
As for your comment about badges, your statement about them having the right to take out a threat makes that a moot comment made, again, I believe to simply hide your disdain for ms. Valle being taken down after instigating the incident.
Give it a rest. You fool no one.
