MAF Freedom PAC is excited to introduce you to two candidates running for Congress that we are proud to endorse. The lack of support for our troops from the Congress and White House is astonishing, and we must elect more pro-troop candidates in November. Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee and Navy S.E.A.L. Ben Smith will be representing all of us in these campaigns on Monday.
It’s extremely important that we support these warriors in their bid for congress, because the more veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars we can get elected to congress, the more support our troops will likely have. No one knows more about what it means to send troops into combat than someone who’s been there, and both of these men we are supporting have done it.
We have been evaluating candidates all across America, and we have started our endorsement with these two strong candidates in the State of New York. But, we can go and campaign for them, but we need to also give them the financial support they need to win their elections. Please help by contributing now.
MAF Freedom PAC has identified both of these candidates as men who believe in the critical principles we need from our leaders. They both supported the surge in Iraq, the strategy envisioned by General David Petraeus and implemented under the care of President George W. Bush. Now we see the fruits of that strategic decision as our troops in Iraq have attained a victory and a peace that has never been seen in that country before. They both support our troops still fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan and support giving our troops the tools and the authorization they need to take the fight to the terrorists.
With our help and your generous donation, we will help these brave men, men who served their country with honor, win their races and take their battle-borne leadership to Washington DC, where it’s sorely needed!
 Michael Grimm for CongressNew York 13th District (Staten Island) Mike is a veteran of the first Gulf War. He enlisted and served in the United States Marine Corps at only 19 years old and became a non commissioned officer in the corps. Highly respected, Mike proved himself to be a capable leader and was awarded several combat merits. After the Persian Gulf War, Mike transitioned to active reserve status and went to school. He eventually became an FBI Officer and served for years as a Special Agent and then an Undercover Agent. In his career with the FBI, Michael Grimm has gone after drug lords, wall street corruption and investigated corrupt political kickbacks and other shady deals in politics. He’s the perfect man to help clean up Washington. |
 Chris Gibson for CongressNew York 20th District (Hudson River Valley) Colonel Chris Gibson is a decorated combat veteran, who spent 24 years as an officer in the United States Army and saw action in Iraq, Kosovo and other places. He did four tours in Iraq including part of the fighting in Ramadi in 2005 when that city was seeing some of the bloodiest fighting of the war. Chris has commanded several prestigious units in the Army including the 82nd Airborne Division and 3rd Armored Cav. Regiment. During his service in Iraq he earned a purple heart, four bronze stars, two legions of merit and several other badges and awards. He’s also highly educated, earning several degrees from Cornell University. Chris has published several books on war, governing and strategy and taught courses at the prestigious West Point Academy. A product of the ROTC program, Gibson is the quintessential warrior-scholar and he’s the perfect candidate to take on Scott Murphy, who criticized our military and ROTC while attending Harvard. |
Both of these men are qualified and capable, accomplished and decorated soldiers. They have proven themselves in battle and displayed the leadership that more than qualifies them to serve in Congress. We need that type of leadership to take on Obama’s agenda and aggressively attack it and defeat it.
We hope you will support these candidates and make a donation to MAF PAC so that we can help them win in New York, because when good men go to Washington, all of America wins.

We need people who understand the sacrifices of our brave young men take it from a Vietnam vet who witnessed the attitude of the people who are now in power. I want our young people to know that WE THE PEOPLE appreciate them and want them treated with dignity and honor.
