Getting Touch On Those Petty Illegals

When some laws are ill-enforced, it leads to a general perception of lawlessness. Rudy Giuliani’s “Broken Windows” policy led New York police to aggressively target all criminals, including those found of committing petty offenses. James Carafano argues that the same tactics should be used to combat illegal immigration, and argues “it is reasonable to expect our government to make a good-faith effort to enforce the law.”
