Attention Congress! This Is Why Americans Are Pissed!

The elites in Congress still don’t get it. Even as a wave is about to sweep both hard core liberals of the Democratic Party and left leaning “moderates” of the Republican Party out of Congress those that are supposed to be serving us are just, quite frankly, too dumb to get it.

Bloomberg.com is reporting that the Senate, having solved all the other problems of the United States, has turned its attention to the really important issue of how loud television commercials are.

The Senate unanimously passed the Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act yesterday, which would direct regulators to set limits on the volume of TV ads, before members left Washington to campaign for the Nov. 2 election.

“Every American has likely experienced the frustration of abrasively loud television commercials,” Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, a Rhode Island Democrat and sponsor of the bill, said today in a statement. “Action in the Senate will help end this annoying practice.

They unanimously voted to pass this? That means Republicans too I can only surmise!

Gee, anyone want to show me where in the Constitution Congress has the authority to regulate the volume of the television either with regards to programming or commercials? I would love to hear the convolutions you dumb as rocks leftists go through to even justify this!

What, you bozos just had to prove one last time that the American people are justified in being angry with you to the point of what will be a revolt at the ballot box?

Can we stick to the few and defined powers actually granted to Congress? Can we? Or are you just that power hungry that you have to keep sticking your little yoohoos where they don’t belong? Sure, loud commercials are annoying. But so are liberals crybabies who cannot read our founding document and stick to the dealing with the powers they are specifically granted. It doesn’t mean that I want either of them made illegal by government action though!
