Joe Miller Holds Stunning Lead in Alaska Senate Race!

Friends – we have some great news to report to you regarding the Senate race in Alaska, where Joe Miller currently holds a slim lead over liberal Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

With 99.5% of precincts reporting Miller has 50.81% of the vote to Murkowski’s 49.19% – you can track the election results for yourself – HERE.

There are two precincts still to report in the state, but there are also several thousand absentee ballots left to be counted.  This election is going to be a nail-biter, friends!

What’s important for us to note for right now is this:  you did it.  You proved the media wrong, and you shocked the political experts.  Everyone thought Senator Murkowski was a shoo-in for this race.

When we came to you last week and told you about the new RT Nielson research poll which showed Joe Miller had surged 25% in three-weeks, we asked for your help for a last minute surge.  You came through with over $156,000 in additional contributions and it worked!  In the end you donated just over $600,000 to help defeat the establishment in this race alone.  The “people’s voice” was heard in this race and it overcame the efforts of the establishment and special interest groups who bankrolled Murkowski’s campaign.

We will be working now to ensure that the final ballots are counted fairly – as the election will now come down to the final absentee ballot count.  One must always be vigilant when dealing with politically entrenched establishment candidates – there always seem to be extra votes that appear at the last minute.
