Young citizens of America may I have your attention please

Young citizens of America may I have your attention please, just submitted to House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel is something that could change every plan you have ever had for your life and if you do not come out strong right here and right now with one voice, you will no longer have a say in your life. Universal National Service Act, or H.R. 5741will require you to complete 2 years of service starting at age 18. The following is from the authors site himself:

A national service obligation–either military or civilian–for every citizen and permanent resident, male and female, of the U.S., aged 18 to 42.
• Persons may inducted to perform military service only if a declaration of war is in effect, or if the President declares a national emergency necessitating the induction of persons to perform military service and immediately informs Congress of the reasons for the declaration.
• Defines “national service” as either military or civilian service as defined by the President that promotes national or homeland security.
• Give the President the authority to establish the numbers of persons to be selected for military service and the means of selection.
• Requires those not selected for military service to perform their national service obligation in a civilian capacity for a period of two years.
• Directs the President to prescribe the regulations necessary to carry out the act.
• Deferments for education are only permitted through completion of high school, to a maximum age of 20.
• Deferments may be made for physical or mental disability, or under claims of conscientious objector.
If this is not what you had planned for your life, you need to be heard now, they need to know that America’s youth will not be forced into labor by our government, this is not a situation where you will get a GI bill, this is forced labor by our government upon you. There is no allowance for forced servitude in our constitution; in fact the thirteenth amendment specifically states that it is prohibited. Young people of America you have a choice, you can sit by and hope someone else will fight this and watch it go the way of the healthcare and financial reform bill or you can stand your ground and protect your freedom, the choice is up to you…
