Mongrels in the White House!

Today, in A.D. 2010, Americans have been forbidden to use certain words and, if those words are used in conjunction with a crime, that crime becomes a thought hate crime and the penalties increase commensurately.
The word “nigger” has been deemed the worst word in the English language and some black groups are demanding it be banned, expunged from our nomenclature, never to be uttered or written or thought of again. When people get on board the word-banning train, spic, kike, guinea, dago, mick, chink, and a few others will probably be consigned to that same verbotten language scrap heap.
Mongrel, however, may escape banishment and expurgation.
According to Wikipedia, the word mongrel in botany refers to a non-hybrid species of plants, to mutts or mixed breeds in the animal kingdom, and, with humans is a “derogatory term for the mixing of ‘races’, known as miscegnation.” The Free Online Dictionary includes as part of the definition, “irregular or inferior or of dubious origin.”
America’s president, Barack Hussein Obama, used that derogatory term to refer to himself, and presumably to all blacks, semi-blacks, mulattos, and high yellows during his Thursday, non-telepromptered appearance on ”The View.”
“When asked about his background, which includes a black father and white mother, Obama said of African-Americans: ‘We are sort of a mongrel people.’ ” He elaborated, “I mean we’re all kinds of mixed up. That’s actually true of white people as well, but we just know more about it. “
He further added, “there’s still a reptilian side of our brain” that leads people to not trust others “if somebody sounds different or looks different.” http://tiny.cc/ng72i
Huh? Mongrels? Reptiles? This is the president of the United States speaking?
Those off-the-cuff remarks are notable on a number of levels.
First, they’re a further indicator that race is a prime factor if not the only factor in how this man thinks and operates. It’s what he’s all about and explains much about his policies. Also, he clearly does not consider himself in any way white. So much for the myth of post-racialism.
Second, comparing himself and all African-Americans to “a mongrel people,” much like what white racists claimed in bygone times, reflects a distinct inferiority complex.
Third, he is demeaning whites as well with the mongrel label and saying we, too, are “all kinds of mixed up,” but we’re too ignorant to realize it.
In Obama’s defense, perhaps he was unaware of the loaded connotations of the word “mongrel,” but that would imply he isn’t quite the most brilliant individual to ever occupy the Oval Office. The next thing people will say is that he believes the United States has 57 states and that the word “corps,” as in Marine Corps, is pronounced corpse.
It’s just a damned good thing that the president is half black or, as he feels, all black. Otherwise, we’d be looking at race riots coast to coast that would rival Watts and Detroit over his reference to blacks as irregular, inferior mutts!
